of course bjs or benavideswould be good wins but just saying!
Renoso is not ******, he does not want Canelo in the ring with David Benavidez, not now, not ever.

Alfredo Angulo and Kirkland were massive underdogs, Canelo was set up with Angulo and Kirkland purposefully in order to get in the ring with somebody who’s easy to hit.

Canelo fought Floyd and Lara and arguably lost to both.

The records of Angelo and Kirkland weren’t a joke AT THAT TIME but I knew he would whip them. Mayweather and Lara were VERY big risks but he took the risk. Trout was no joke either. Why doesn’t anyone TODAY do the same?

This is crazy talk. Floyd spends half of his life trolling Canelo. Teddy Atlas is senile. Kelly Pavlik is strung out on *******. Benavidez’ style is precisely what will make him the underdog. Volume puncher who stays in the pocket and there to be hit. Canelo couldn’t ask for a better style matchup.

I think most people agree with that. Myself included but here’s the thing, while Canelo was unifying the 168 division, losing to Bivol and beating GGG, what the heck was Benavidez doing other than chasing for a payday with Canelo?
Like Andrade, who has fought nobody both are looking for paydays. Why not eliminate each other and give Canelo zero excuse not to fight?

If Canelo is scared he should just say that. His fanboys are defending Clenelo like he is their GF. We saw Bivol smash and expose Canelo easy, Benavidez would be the first to ko Canelo. And that is why the fight never happens

This is the whole show, and in truth, I can’t blame him

Kirkland was inactive and was just a can anyway. Was a showcase fight.

Another hype thread for Benavidez, the guy who took 2 fights to beat an unknown TMT fighter. I'm sure Haymon still has the money on the table.
