Fcuk, really disappointing news, but not shocking based on the state of the sport.

The problem here is that Crawford is guaranteed to earn multi-millions without fighting Spence, Ortiz, or Ennis, his stiffest challengers.

I'm happy for Avanesyan because it's literally a once-in-a lifetime chance for him, but this is a torrent fight most def.

That’s because it was true. Crawford never fought any elite welterweight that was still in his prime. He’s been at welterweight for 4 years and has no fought any of the other too welterweights. He instead fought an unknown kavaliuskas that actually dropped him rofl. Even at 140 he unified the division by beating Julius Indongo ffs lol

They had a chance to make a truly great fight. The fight of the year & an early candidate for fight of the 2020s. A chance to be undisputed champion in a blue-riband division. I feel sick & disappointed but this is boxing these days. I feel sorry for good young fighters like Devin, Shakur, etc because people just will lose interest in boxing. I myself am just gonna follow the T20 World Cup & forget all this BS.
