Matchroid Boxing can't do the Fury fight that early because Juice-ua won't have time for his liver to be clean since he had already started cycling for his next fight. This is why they were so insistent on a later date.

Juice-ua claimed he won the fight against Usyk during his roid rage fit after the decision, now they're talking about Clenthony's loss as if he got beat up by a tractor and need a lot of time to "heal"

Fury's biggest paycheck and potential undeniable status as the best HW of this era is happening in early 2023 when Fury vs Usyk is planned.

Joyce is too much of a threat. Andy's dad already said a Fury fight would only make sense on May 5th. Hunter has been off the radar for a while.

The only reason Fury wanted AJ regardless of being a threat was because that would be Fury's second biggest paycheck of his career. The risk was worth the reward unlike with Joyce and the others.

Both teams said negotiations were going great and once the final draft was complete Hearn decided to call off the fight with the reason being Fury was being disrespectful to him and AJ.

Hearn obviously ducked the fight. He doesn't have the confidence to send AJ against another good boxer.

If Fury kept his trap shut and continued training for a December 3rd fight regardless of opponent, then Hearn would have had no choice to blatently duck or go for it, but now Hearn has a excuse as Furys nonsense being the ultimate stumbling block.

Yup, bingo. I totally believe recent statements from Arum and George Warren, AJ’s team went into negotiating this fight because they didn’t have an out, and Fury gave them an out by acting all unhinged.

Right now, the Fury team should make a public statement saying, “there’s still plenty of time, we still want to negotiate”.

Joshua's next fight without Fury, is a big fight. Joshua next fight is a bigger fight many times over, than Fury's next fight without Joshua or Usyk.

Hearn was quoted in saying 'let us do our own thing and let them do theirs and see were it goes' .....sounds like his mouthing the words for Joshua.
I understand with the deal for Joshua starting in his next fight with Dazn, to take yet another loss and maybe a real hammering would be hard to swallow for all concerned. I hope Joshua struggles in his quest for another easy title fight he doesn't deserve.

Yeah, I think you're right. The risk of a loss starting the front-end of that DAZN contract was probably more than the DAZN folks wanted to risk. They've had to eat a lot of money the past two years ... that would potentially be another big loss starting out. And, in the UK, joshua fighting anyone is still a big draw ... unless he loses a couple more fights. They will probably give a lot of lip service to fighting the top guys ... but demur to taking some lesser challenges for a while ... all the while trying to convince people (via the promotion) that it is a high-risk, must-see fight.

I doubt they want any of the top guys, but we shall see.

Tyson Fury literally pulled out of the fight publicly on multiple occasions. During the entire negotiations he said he would fight Charr instead.

He's hardly desperate for the fight!

He was bluffing from day 1. We all know that.
