It had nothing to do with Donaire's age—it was the switch to Celeto Reyes. Inoue should have done that a long time ago. Imagine how many second round stoppages he'd have by now.

By the way, all credit to the Japanese fans…they are consistently the classiest fanbase in boxing and showed it again tonight. Such a respectful people with a respectful culture. One thing I hate, I detest, that I find completely barbaric is booing someone’s national anthem as several national fan bases do. The Japanese crowd was quiet during and applauded the Filipino anthem afterwards. That is total CLASS

Inoue is the P4P #1 boxer on the planet. Magnificent performance tonight.

Not necessarily. There are some weak champions at 115 he could try to pick off. He only won an interim strap there his first time around.

Even coming off the KO loss I'd pick Nonito to ice the winner of Nietes vs Ioka. Both those guys have looked washed for years.

Whoever wrote this article, why do u report the fight backwards from the last round to the first? You don't watch a fight from back to front, so why would u report it that way? Are u just trying to make a niche for yourself as a reporter? Like, "hey u y'all, remember me? I'm the ass backwards reporter!" The one who wipes my butt, then takes a poop, then goes swimming.

I seen people compare him to Pac. But Inoue is already 29. Pac was a teen when he was moving up so its different situation. Second Pac had a legendary resume already when he was 29. Inoue only has Nonito who is 40 and already been beaten by people like Frampton. He skipped 115 who would have given him his hof resume. But resume wise is what hes lacking he as no hof fighters in his prime.

That caught me by surprise. Donaire seemed rejuvenated after wiping out two top ten bantamweights but I should have known better. Inoue should fight Butler & immediately move up afterwards. He has more then enough to win titles at super bantam & featherweight.
