I ain't going as far as saying i am a fan of hopkins but as a boxing fan you got to give respect, or at least a little respect to his role in boxing.

Because B-Hop faught everyone there was to face. He didn't duck no one and is looking to face Adamek, winner of Johnson vs Dawson. People wouldn't have a problem with Mayweather facing Marquez if he revealed that he is looking to face Shane or winner of Cotto vs Pacquiao. But Mayweather isn't gonna over look Marquez and as respectful as that is, that can work against him.

not to mention this is a tune up
Hopkins got ate up for that, but he immediately moved up in weight.

Acting like he didn't go 2 times with Taylor. Middleweight was dead that it actually let Oscar come up and seem like a good fight. But once Taylor planted his flags, Hopkins jumped on it, twice, against Taylor...over all I think Hopkins has made the propper progressions.

But I still can't believe he let Calzaghe frustrate him, I never saw that coming. I thought Hopkins had more poise than that, I still remember at one point, Hopkins was so frustrated that he tried to flurry Joe with the same soft **** that Joe would flurry on him...I've never seen Hopkins get out of form like that before.

Oscar was a unified champ at 154 and even though he was out of shape, was competitive and fought close against Sturm. If Oscar was in shape for that Sturm, he'd have won a comfortable UD.

He was the first to stop De La Hoya, the fight was at a catchweight of 156 (that B-Hop actually made), and barely anyone give Hopkins credit for that win anyway.

And Marquez went after Mayweather. I'm sure that if it was the other way around this wouldn't be a welterweight fight would it?
