    [QUOTE=The Weebler II;6113086]even if I agreed, do two wrongs make a right?QUOTE]

    No, however, you are pointing out the ref as the main reason for Hatton's loss, whereas I'm just pointing out he benefitted greatly, IMO, from a biased ref in the fight that aruably catapulted him to super star status.

    In a way, it's karma.

        There is no way Hatton was gonna win that fight. I kept saying all night that he was to close to floyd to land anything and floyd knew it. If it was UFC than yea Hatton may have been winning with the wrestling. I do this Cortez ****** it up and should have never taken a point away from Hatton. But no matter what Floyd was starting to land and land clean and you (unless your blind) started seeing it. Hatton made it fun to watch but in the end the better boxer won. Also to the person who said Floyd is just a good boxer. Your right Floyd did what you have to do. You box a fighter and fight a boxer.

        Oh and this is coming from someone who really wanted to see Floyd lose.

              But the real reason Ricky lost is clearly Joe Cortez's sheer incompetence. Not only in the fact that he allowed Floyd to choke Ricky with elbows on the inside, but for failing to see that it was Floyd, not Ricky, doing all the holding.

              The point deduction in the 6th was the turning tide, it was here that Ricky's spirit was taken from him upon realizing that Joe was going to screw him.

              Mayweather was getting caught easily by left hooks and jabs and was clearly bothered with the pressure.

              Joe Cortez needs to be banned from the sport.

              What a piece of **** ref.

              JMM is gonna wax that ass this Saturday.
              Pretty clear you have no idea how to score fights. I gave Hatton two rounds.

                Hatton won 3 rounds. Floyd sonned him.

                  As for the Cortez argument, it is completly invalid. Floyd was dominating on the inside, and landing cleaner, faster and more powerful punches. As for the point deduction, Cortez said before the fight that anything illegal that displayed intent would result in a point deduction. Hatton intentionally threw a punch at the back of Mayweather's head when he was between the ropes. Want to complain about the refs? Dont try and land ILLEGAL RABBIT PUNCHES in one of the biggest fights of the year.

                      I think Floyd knocks out Hatton 10 times out of 10 fights but Cortez was a disgrace in this fight.

                      Its clear that he's thinking of Hatton holding too much that he's breaking them even if there's nobody holding anybody. twice i noticed that cortez brakes them off even if they're just strugling for position inside. whats worse is the commentating of Tolentino and Dyan Castillejo in this fight (Pinoy commentators)
