I don't say he's not good... Just a bit greedy and he will find his nemesis in Bivol... or Beterbiev ... But Bivol should be able to give him a reality check and show him the LHW isn't for him at the higher level ... My humble .02...

Canelo is at his peak at SMW. LHW is just 7 lbs bigger than his peak weight. Your statement can be true for CW or Bridgerweight. But, not for LHW.

      Beterbiev is dangerous opponent though.

It amazes me the extremes to which people view this fight. Most say he’s cherry picking and the other side is stating Canelo is going to get Beat up.
Well, some people on here are going to be EXPOSED for not knowing sheeit about boxing. I think it’s going to be a good fight. Nelo will win on points. No KO.

And that's why canelo is so great.

            Bivol is a small LHW.

I think there’s only 1 natural weight class between them tbh.

Canelo is also thicker boned, denser skulled and wider necked.

Im going back and forth in this fight. My initial pick was Canelo but the more I analyze, im not sure.

Im laying down money on Bivol that's for sure.

Nelos had some naughty CWs and clauses. Lets see what Nelo can do.

From a stylistic standpoint, this guy is his worst possible matchup. Canelo's front foot pressuring counter puncher style will play into Bivol's hands. Can't see Canelo having much success to the body compared to his previous opponents since GGG.

Canelo fans are all in on him beating everyone out there. He can drop to 154 and clean that out, or get to 200 LBS and beat down CW. Most of those, like the OP, do not even care about LHW enough to know who Bivol is or how skilled he is.

Canelo haters are predicting a "come uppence" for reaching to high. They write off the Kovalev win as a cheery picking over a beat down has been and all his dominate wins at 168 as cheery picking a weak division instead of fighting "real" challenges at 160. They see this as the beat down he deserves.

Me? I like Bivol and his skill set to give Alvarez more than he bargained for, But he is not in over his head. He is elite and loves to challenge himself. I respect him. I see Bivol winning, but I am in a serious slump for predictions so that can only help Canelo.

I agree it goes the distance. Alvarez is too intelligent and skilled to be put away, and Bivol is intelligent enough to use his size and jab to get out of trouble and protect his body from Alvarez.

I think Bivol wins, split decision.
