Only controversy is you have people disagree with Arum.

It’s a new world though. The cancel culture that would crucify Jake Paul if he said anything different.

Bob says a lot of things off the cuff that would sound controversial but it isn't like many aren't thinking similar. You may have a pool who do enjoy women's boxing to a high degree but the general boxing public does not give a **** about it. Like, you can try to hype it up as much as you want but the general public just won't come on board.

In comparison, you can hype up a female MMA fight, and if the fighters have a decent face, dudes will tune in since they're basically wearing tight shorts and a sports bra, lol. It's a lot more skimpy clothing in comparison to what female boxers wear.

I know a female friend once commented that she just watches MMA because it is as close to watching naked dudes outside of watching a **** flick. This coming from a woman who really doesn't care about MMA for that matter but will just watch because of the attraction she finds. I think that is how men feel about watching women in MMA.

Jake Paul called him an old dinosaur, Eddie Hearn did the same and agreed with jake Paul’s comments about arum being a dinosaur who is against women.

Personally, I don’t think he said anything wrong, women’s boxing is a load of crap. But you do have to question why he says things like this, he needs better pr. Other promoters probably think the same thing but they don’t say it cause they know the backlash they would get from the snowflakes.

But what will you be watching on April 30th? Taylor vs Serrano or Stevenson vs Valdez?
Yea, like that’s a news flash that’s new. Let’s move on.

I don't watch women boxing... Because. They're. Women.

WTH would a man want to watch women beating eachother up? That's some weird views on women.

American culture as a whole doesn't appreciate femininity anymore, unless it's effeminate dudes doing interior designing. Then it's cool somehow. To who? Who likes neutered males? Who likes manly women?

Everything is topsy turvy, and it's an agenda to convince people that it's normal. One of my younger sons went to soccer practice tonight. It's co-ed, boys and girls. He says, "Dad, why did the coaches keep cheering the girls but not the boys? Why did they keep saying girl power and stuff?" I said son, that's their agenda. They want to convince you that girls are as tough as guys. Just remember, if it was true, they wouldnt be trying so hard to convince you.

I think women's boxing is garbage. Not because I don't like women, but because I respect what a women is created to be, even if the women themselves haven't been raised with this truth.

My boys wrestle too. One of our chief rules is that they would never wrestle a girl. They will default and give a girl the win if it comes down to it, and have done so before. When I see a girl who wants to be aggressive and tough, I wonder to myself, "Who hurt her, to make her like that?"

That's where I'm coming from, and I think a lot of people still believe this to be true, even if the media wants us to believe otherwise.

Didn't read through the thread but I'm guessing what I'm about to say has been pointed out a time or two in this thread.

It's not controversy. It's fact. The vast, vast majority of human beings out there (like 99%) do not care at all about woman's boxing. They couldn't name a single female boxer.

                  - - Women mostly don't care for women boxing, nor men's boxing.

The way it's always been all the way up to today.

Mate, the standard of the Goalkeepers in women’s football/Soccer is so awful it’s not even funny!

Under 14 boys Sunday league Keepers would do a better job.

women’s soccer is terrible. And our england national team get rammed down our throats on TV even though we don’t want it!
