Has anyone seen the fighters? Don't want to be the cynic but my initial reaction is that Parker blew this off... There are a few things in life that are constant:
    1. Death & Taxes
    2. Freedom does not celebrate Martin Luther King's Birthday
    3. You don't come in out of shape against Chisora.

I have mentioned this before? Not many fighters have met force with force and tackled Derek Chisora head on and came out on top 'Totally canceling out the Chisora's force'.

Only two fighters have fought him this way 'Dillian Whyte & David Haye'.

Tyson Fury did not fight Derek Chisora head on in their rematch, but he did in the first fight and well was nearly beaten. I really only class Whyte & Haye as the two fighters who have meet force with force and totally cancelled out Chisora via knocked out.

Tyson Fury has never knocked out Derek Chisora, the first fight went 12 rounds and the second fight 'Chisora coached pulled him out'. That is why I don't quite put Fury's performances in the same bracket as Whyte's or Haye's.

So basically Parker has come into this fight, and he is going to make it a war of attrition 'Force vs Force'.

This is ether going to go well for him, or backfire. If Chisora conditioning and endurance is at its best, it may well backfire.
Fury's second performance against Chisora was far better than either Whyte's or Haye's. Whyte arguably lost the first fight and was on his way to losing the second until he pulled out that one punch, while Haye got clipped plenty and was feeling Chisora's pressure in the five rounds it lasted. On the other hand Chisora didn't lay a glove on a southpaw Fury. The beating he was dishing out was so bad, Fury backed off and was looking for the ref to stop it.

Was Parker training with Andy Ruiz at the buffet line?

Tyson Fury did not meet Derek Chisora head on in their second fight 'He out boxed him and used his dimensions' He did what he was supposed to do stylistically. I am sure David Haye at the stage of his career when he fought Chisora, could of fought a box and move type of fight 'But instead he met Chisora head on and canceled out Derek Chisora's momentum'

Only two fighters have been able to met Chisora head on and cancel out his momentum completely via knock-out 'And those fighters are Dillian Whyte & David Haye'.

Tyson Fury attempted to met Chisora head in their first fight, and well? Did you watch the fight? It turned out like most if not all of Chisora's fights, when his opponent thinks they can meet force with force and cancel him out. Derek Chisora I believe was weighing in at close to 280 pounds, was not really in the best of condition 'But he still pushed Tyson Fury, it was a highly competitive fight'.

I personally think David Haye's performance, was the most impressive. He was fighting Chisora pretty much after his best performance against Vitali Klitschko 'Haye was weighing in at 211 pounds, Chisora a solid 247 pounds'.

David Haye still met Chisora head on, the fight was a rough and chaotic while in lasted 'But by round five it was over, Chisora was for the first time in his career knocked down heavily twice'.

It took 7 years for Derek Chisora to be knocked to the canvas again, 7 years for his momentum to be stopped. And that was by Dillian Whyte in their second fight.

Joseph Parker on Saturday night, from what I can gather 'Is going to attempt to meet Chisora head on and cancel out his momentum'.

This could get very ugly when these 2 gas out after about 6.

As a Parker fan, I don't like what I'm seeing. Parker is a better boxer with better hands. He isn't a big puncher, when he gets tired and sloppy whatever advantage he had is out the window.

I thought Parker looked soft in the pics in the other article.

Parker looks healthy,I have winning in 10 . Chisora also looks in great shape but Parker is more talented and had a second training camp this time with a new trainer while Chisora reverted back to the same old in the U.K . Fury is also a factor who was helping and he fought Chisora twice . In my mind it’s another rematch that is going to go the other way if you had Chisora winning the first time like I did .

The most important thing is getting the win. Parker maybe has been influenced by the media, and people contriving this notion that? Parker should knock Chisora out 'That he should be beating Chisora easily if he wants to be a top heavyweight' Nobody has beaten Chisora easily, if they decide to meet him head on.

Depending on how a opponents fights a in condition Chisora, it will ether be easier or complete pandemonium.

I kind of agree, if Parker just wanted to get the win 'He could of come in around 240 pounds, and just boxed a better fight than last time around'.

Parker so it seems wants to fight Chisora, and beat him at his own game 'A war of attrition'.

Going on what preceded it, I'm not sure the Haye fight would have gone any other way. In fact, you could say the animosity was common to both Haye and Whyte choosing to meet Chisora head-on. Takam almost pulled that tactic off also, but got suckered into Del's overhand right.

Parker looks like he'll try it with the weight gain, but it's not his natural game, and that could end up playing into Chisora's hands.

Ok... so Parker wanted this weight? Its legit? I have not seen pics yet, but if he meant to prepare this way, then kudos. Parker is definitely talented, I just always saw him as emphasizing mobility. There is a logic here: The two guys who went strong against Del Boy did well... I guess Parker took a page from Hayes' book. Its hard to bet against Chisora but I do think Parker wins this... assuming he wanted to gain weight.
