Word on Nash's street is that if Benn gets past Broner, Malignaggi is next! Surely that would be a step too far for Benn? Facing the Magic Man. Nash out.

Benn vs. Thurman would be a better fight against a name he could possibly beat, Calling out Broner is baffling.

Beating a 37 year old Algieri is hardly a measure of anything. Calling out AB is just another delusion.
If Benn is ready as he thinks he is, call out any of the top 8 WW.
Of course matchmaking is always involved so how about challenging Danny Garcia who is still a legit guy at WW.
I don’t think Benn beats Garcia but British fighters are a funny lot.
When Hatton came to the US, he was the next big Brit export. He gets beat by Collazo then goes on to fight an old way past his prime Castillo and then cashed out with Floyd.
As much as I love Calzaghe, his trip to the US was against a way past his prime Roy and Hopkins (great win still).
IKR. Hatton was so silly to think that fighting Mayweather and Pacquaio had any relevance.

Broner ??? Why pick on a guy that peaked 7-8 years ago and in his last 4 fights, lost them all . His last victory was a clear loss. What does beating a small shot Welterweight do for Benn's career besides pad his record. Is Broner even alive ? That's the bigger question .

Benn is not ready for the top guys who are champions now like crawford/spence/ugas. I also think guys like boots ennis will beat him handily as well. He should not call out a washed up broner. Maybe a vergil ortiz would be a good fight and a measuring stick to see how he fares.

A push for Broner and the winner of Khan/Brook. Aiming high I see or just looking to cash out. I know this is prize fighting but he can't be considered one of the best WW if he chooses that path. God bless them all if they can make good purses.
