But at the same time Lomachenko's team dropped the WBC belt rather than have Devin Haney hanging around as the mandatory. So if you want to talk about boxing politics don't forget to bring up that little incident too.
I think Floyd should do what's best for Tank! Floyd's beef with Arum should have nothing to do with Tank fighting Loma! Floyd has beef with Oscar, but he was going to let Tank fight Ryan Garcia! Haney is Mayweather Gym Family, why block Tank vs. Haney? PBC doesn't have enough for Tank to become a "Super" star!

Thing is though... He probably will fight them.. at the "right time", when one of them gets knocked out or gets old or suffers a bad injury.. And he'll have all these beautiful names on his record.. Just like uncle Fraud..

Floyd Mayweather Says Terence Crawford Is P-4-P #1 Today; Wants To Work With Him

Do you think Mayweather could make Bud a PPV star at this point in his career?

I think if he gets away from the awful top rank lack of promotion he will do fine. Top rank and dazn won’t acknowledge the Afro-American fan base as a market like pbc does as evidence to the Houston, Baltimore, Atlanta fights etc. I think Mayweather promotions with Haymon are the ones who specifically took fights to 2 of those cities the way other promoters take fights to LA, San Antonio etc. top rank and especially dazn promoters freely admit and even mention the Mexican American demographic but they do not mention or utter “African American”, “black”, Afro-American etc. Crawford isn’t and hasn’t ever been marketed correctly and this is something that may be remedied by a promotion and advisor who actually acknowledges Crawford’s ethnic group exists

Yes but it would be on Bud to show ambition and take the best fights.

Floyd can promote the hell out of Bud and make him more than a draw and fan favorite.

But Bud will have to stop acting like a passenger in his own career in order to make it happen.

At this point, the only way for Bud is to fight Thurman, Ugas, Spence, move up and fight Charlo or Castano, or get a fight with Taylor @ 140.

Basically, big fights or nothing for where Bud is at in his career. He's beyond the tune ups and test the waters. He's where Canelo is at but without the popularity.

I think Boots and Vergil are great fights @ 147 too!

I was shocked that TR took Stevenson vs. Herring to ATL!
