2 judges having it only a 10-9 in the first round is not impressive in my view.

Flash KDs don't always deserve 10-8 round.

Score cards got turned around on Lopez this time out - He pulled a 'Loma' - Like Loma did with him, Lopez gave away too many early rounds and at least according to the score cards doesn't become competive until the second half of the fight.

One judge gave K the first seven rounds - a deep hole for Lopez to dig himself out of . . . The other two judges saw fit to give K 5 of the first seven rounds.

Lopez loses the SD in the 11th dropping the round on all three cards.

Don't know why people are writing that K dominated the last two rounds - Lopez won the 12th on two cards.

Did you watch the fight? Lopez barely threw a punch in the 12th...he actually kind of got worked over.

If it's legitimate knockdown it's a 10-8 round irrespective of the action in the round. So 2 judges messed up here. That's why a lot of fighters focus on getting it together rather than trying to turn around a round where they've touched down. They know the round is lost and its about not being stopped at that point. If they give a 10-9 they have to be consistent and give it that in round 10 also. But 2 wrongs wouldn't make a right, and they don't know that second knockdown is coming. Still the right man got the decision, and it just shows how Kambosos really had to be thorough to get the decision. Frank Lombardi had the most accurate card imo.

It wasn’t flash knockdown though it was a pretty big shot which dropped Lopez hard. Lopez was winning the round up to then but it wasn’t a domination. I like to see 10-8 given to reward the fighter scoring the knockdown.

Ok I see your point of view . . . But it's your POV, (see bold) there is no such standard codified in any State Commission rules, it is the discretion of the judges.
