Comments Thread For: Crawford: I Don't Need Spence; I Been The Number One Guy In Division Since I Came Here

LAS VEGAS - Errol Spence Jr. walked away from his ringside seat Saturday night as the crowd booed loudly while he was shown on the big screen above the ring at Mandalay Bay's Michelob ULTRA Arena.

Sorry Bud, but you beat the weakest guy with a title @ 147! You've never been #1 in the division! You're off to a good start after stopping Porter, so let's not get ******! You need Errol Spence! Now let's get it done!

Bud likes to act like he’s above it all but it’s his insecurities speaking because he’s still bitter he made bad business choices which led to Spence making big events, Spence been a professional less years than bud so of course bud has more accolades in lighter divisions, doesn’t take away from the work errol has done

Can't and wont argue with Bud on this because he's proven it over and over again.

Guys are all on Errol's sac but won't acknowledge the man (Bud) who has remained clean, active and productive since he was ever ranked in the sport. It's so dumb that fans and the media are waiting around to see the Spence of old, but that's the same man who drank and blew up in weight between fights, spent most of the camp losing weight and didn't take things seriously at all....he just depended on his size and power.

Crawford on the other hand has remained sober and active through his entire reign. I remember the car incident at the local body shop in Nebraska but he's kept a clean profile since. Errol has been in an accident (of which we still don't know the fullest extent of the details) and suffered a torn retina. How much "Spence" does he have left in the tank?

Crawford's consistency beats most if not all of these guys. Seems as though most (if not all) PBC fighters take looooong ass breaks between fights or they're suddenly "injured" for most of the year (e.g., Thurman, Spence, etc). Think about it...a lot of these PBC disappear after fights and suddenly have so many reasons for NOT fighting. Smh

So Bud thinks he's number 1 because he beat a guy that lost to Thurman, Kell Brook, Spence and was dropped by Adrien Broner lol Also some feel like Shawn Porter lost to Ugas as well!! Those guys beat up on Porter before you got to him and softened him up.... Also Porter was planning on retiring after this fight anyway.... It's a good win to have on your resume but don't think that you did the impossible, most experts expected you to win this fight and as someone that's considered P4P you should've won. You need to fight Spence and Spence needs to fight you, regardless of the matter this fight has to happen stop acting like you're too good to fight Spence.
