BS. You don't become the best fighter in a division when coming into the division and not even attempting to fight the best fighter in the division.

But people are still comparing his past performances against guys to what he would probably do to Bud. At this point, if you're not in top shape and sharp, you're in trouble with Crawford. I believe he beats Spence and that was always the case.

I'm not all that excited or hyping up a guy who drinks too much, blows up between fights, caused a single car crash because of alcohol, suffered a torn retina, and he's been inactive...b-b-but he still da unified champ doe.

You're only as good as your last fight and his last outing was against a tentative Garcia last December in which he claimed to have been at about 80% going into that fight. He couldn't really engage the way he wanted to and Danny wasn't trying to fight all that much himself, so we got a dud.

I just don't think Spence has what it takes to beat Bud.

It's the fight he wanted. These mfers today want the top opposition to lose so they can have an easy path in their division. Maybe it's just the competitor in my and my age, but whenever I played sports or boxed, I wanted to face the top guys to show how good I was or wasn't. If I wasn't as good as I thought I was, I wanted to know.

Spence's biggest wins are vs. Porter, Danny Garcia, and Mikey Garcia. Are we going to pretend the Garcias were ever good Welterweights? Porter is the best guy Spence beat. Crawford beat him more decisively. Spence is going to continue fighting PBC's best......who aren't that good. Thurman? Ugas? Just a continuation of the round robin.

Crawford is going to have to beat the entire PBC 147lbs roster before they sacrifice Spence to "Bud".

Bomac: " We wanted that fight but Spence has to come out of hiding first".

Whoever still thinks Spence is the best welter needs to have their head examined. I honestly think Yordenis Ugas is a more competitive fight than Spence is for Crawford. Crawford stops Spence late as well.

I honestly don't think Spence touches Crawford or Ugas.....and Spence won't have that side of the street argument once Bud signs with the PBC cuz he ain't signing with Hearn..LOL

Spence acts like he hates Thurman but I think he’s really a fan with how he tries to imitate him.
