I get what he's saying and it may hold true that Loma wouldn't have given him a rematch. I mean, there wasn't a rematch clause in place, so Loma's kinda getting what he deserves here.

I don't like how Teo's going about it but can you blame him? My thing is, bro, if you're gonna move up to 140 then drop the titles, get this Kambosos fight (that we never wanted to see) out of the way and move on. I actually like Kambosos because of his trolling but he doesn't really stand a chance just judging by the Selby fight.

I mean, he can barely make the 135 weight limit anyway...nobody wants a champion who they're unsure of when it comes to the scales. They're usually in jeopardy of missing weight or they perform poorly after rehydrating.

Just move up, Teo. No love lost here. Go after Taylor!

I remember Nakatani and Commey were building blocks for Lopez, and now they're Loma is fighting them? That's going backwards as far as I'm concerned. I'd much rather see Loma fight Haney @ 135, or drop down to 130 and fight the winner of Herring vs. Stevenson, or Valdez!

I think the Nakatani fight and possible Commey fight are just low risk stay busy fights to stay in the game until the rematch happens. Personally I think the rematch will happen and this is just Teo stirring the pot, and also looking for some attention as his next fight ( that nobody is talking about ) is not too far away.

Totally agree. I don't think Teo goes anywhere near Haney until 140 at the earliest. I don't think Loma if he were to beat Teo will fight Haney either. They'll see it as backing down to the whole disputed, undisputed thing. I can't believe I'm even having to say that in a comment. What has boxing become.

Loma vs Haney, Tank, or Garcia, winner gets Lopez. I will say none of those guys would fight Loma, but I also think Loma is not itching to jump in the ring with any of those guys either, I think it goes both ways. There's a couple of other guys who I would like to see fight any of those guys and see what they can do, William Zepeda and Jo Jo. Let's make something happen there's plenty of action out there.

I used to think the rematch was going to happen, until 1) Teo's fight was pushed back, and 2) Commey stopped talking about fighting Haney! If Loma vs. Commey isn't until December, that means the rematch would be late Spring 2022. I really don't think Teo wants to be trying to get to 135 in 2022! He's been openly saying that he was having problems making 135 since 2019!

If Loma really wants a rematch what he should do in his next interview is 'admit' that Lopez got the best of him, that Lopez was the better fighter that night. All champions have a measure of pride and these two fighters are no exception. If Loma' pride won't allow him to publicly admit that Lopez got the better of him (fair and square) then perhaps he doesn't deserve a rematch
