styles make fights dog. porter has a mauling, hunched forward, rough style and a very good chin. he can come forward in the face of spence' power. he was as big as 178 in the amateurs and did most of his best international boxing at 165 lbs.
look at what happened when spence fought an upright and conventional boxer in mikey garcia, he took a step back when the jab came, stuffed it, and came back with combinations. mikey couldn't put a glove on him. he fought a bigger, better, faster southpaw version of himself and he got shut out.

If porter is in habit of hitting his opponents it might be wise to entertain idea porter is quite good

I thought Spencebfought Porters fight and won which made it more meaningful. I believe Spence could have boxed and it wouldnt have been as fun a fight to watch. Porter is a tough out for anybody right now. He may not win but he definitely comes to win.

He fought Porter's fight and beat him there. That's why Spence got hit so much by Porter.

If he does the same with Pacquiao, he better have the most punch resistance in the world because you can't fight Pacquiao's game and beat him at it.
Styles make fights. Porter would probably get stopped by Pac because of how wide he gets sometimes. Pac slips punches in fast and with unorthodox angles. Spence would’ve been able to box the brakes off Porter down the stretch but he wanted a dog fight…and that’s what he did.

Save this post. Against Pac, Spence will jab and box while trying to find his distance and rhythm in round 1-5. After a rough start, Spence will start closing the distance and backing Pac up with effective and intelligent pressure. After the 6-7th rounds, Spence will turn up the heat and start eating shots to get his off. By 8-10, he will either choose to pursue going after Pac or he will slowly pick him apart.

Down the stretch, Pacs punches won’t hurt nearly as much. Spence will have to make a big decision to cruise to a decision or run him over.

"bulldozer" porter keeps coming. Pac has a great chance of victory.

PAC has the higher boxing IQ and much more experience. Spence will fall for his traps and PAC will score a KD in either 2nd or 3rd round.

Pac is not gonna outjab spence.

He's gonna clock spence with crosses, hooks and uppercuts everytime spence throws that jab.

Forcing spence to abandon the jab.

                Mark my words.

All the morons on here will cry about spence messing up by not using his jab. Not realizing pac was making him eat a power counter each time he threw it.

If you haven't notice Spence isn't that hard to fine. Mikey Garcia was just too afraid of a firefight by exchanging punches with him for fear of getting knocked out. The very same could be said of Danny Garcia also when he challenged Erroll Spence.

Pac needs to be careful by pacing himself because the last thing he needs in a fight with Erroll Spence is a firefight which could easily gas him and punch himself out.

He needs to fight at a much slower pace by picking his spots very carefully and fighting in spurts. In addition, he needs to avoid the exchanges and not trade punches with the naturally larger, stronger and younger man.
