Is it just me or does Anthony Joshua have a very loserish fanbase?

at what point did I say Fury had a good reign or anything or called him a great champion? point it out to me if I did..you can’t

all i’ve ever said was Fury took the belts off long reigning champs, which he did, it’s fact. I’ve never hyped him up a great champion. Again, point out to me where I did.

I’ve even said in many threads that although I consider Tyson Fury a better fighter than Klitschko, I don’t consider him greater yet because Klitschko has real title reigns and Fury has yet to do that.

im consistent in everything I say, You’re the one putting words in my mouth.

AJ never took his belts off solid champs, nor has he had a great reign either, he lost them once to a C level fighter.

So I would consider taking belts off real champions more impressive than beating weak temporary belt holders, defending against 40 year olds and losing to Ruiz. even if Fury is yet to defend the belts, his title wins are more impressive than anything Joshua has ever done.

And never forget one important fact: Joshua’s best win is a Fury leftover

Every fighter has a percentage of their fanbase that crosses over into hero-worship and overrating him. Mayweather, Canelo, GGG, Pac, Ali, Fury, or whoever, it doesn't matter, there is always that fringe element of their fans who take it to that level.

Joshua has a lot of flaws but I admire him for his professionalism and dedication. In this way he reminds me more of Vlad than Bruno

No you aren't consistent. You said real champs have reigns, that makes Joshua a real champ. You then backtrack and try and tear apart his resume, when it's better than Fury's. If we are going by best wins then Ruiz beat a real champ, rated #1, in his physical prime. So Fury is the best in nothing at HW.

Thanks for the laughs. Maybe think before typing next time.

Casuals who acknowledge their casualness aren't a problem, but those kind of casuals are in the minority.
Exactly! People like Barret and Redeemer can kill a site, I saw it happen so I speak from experience. First thing that will kill a site are when people who are professional fighters, or have a large body of experience are minimized... Sure if we are talking politics we can josh each other, but to then diminish what it takes to get in there and excel in an endevour that really tests a person, and that few can achieve professional status at the higher levels, is folly.

Then people who have no understanding start to gain a foothold, and become acceptable critics... Only to be discovered to lack all understanding. This is devistating.

I used to be part of a site that critiques martial arts, it was the biggest such site. Credability gradually shifted from fighters/teachers who were well represented in their disciplines, some professional, to members who went to these meetings where the standards for acceptability were very very low... did someone have the courage to spend a bit of time against a resisting opponent? In a sparring scenario that was mild, to say the least? Eventually all the knowlegable members left the site, and members who claimed knowledge were exposed from these meetings...Shown to have very poor fighting skills.

Idiots can kill a site when not called out... Period. Joshua fans IMO are lovely... But when the promoter discourses start, it is TROUBLE. The ignorance is TOXIC. The ignorance to make predictions based on situations that are obviously fluid, and changing, situations that are based on groups competing for their own interests (the promoters) suddenly being framed as a situation where the fans are cared about... It is so ignorant! Nobody would hire a lawyer/promoter, financial manager, etc that would put ANY interests above the interests of their client!

Ignorance kills... it always has and always will. If a man has a bromance with Joshua, bless him... But you start telling me about how Hearn is great/horrid, etc? We have a problem.

I remember the cult of Roy (Jones) and Mayweather... Lol.

It's funny how Roy's cult fizzled out after a couple of KO losses. Both he and MAB were my favorites of the 90's and early 2000's, but I always recognized Roy's weaknesses, even during his prime. The Cult of Mayweather is alive and kicking, worse as ever, LOL.

                  All fans are losers.

Their lives are so miserable, they need to fill the giant holes in their souls by feeling joy for a random stranger’s success.

Hmmm interesting comments about attributing the toxicity to Hearn rather than actually Joshua...I think thats a fair point.

As in good reigns. AJ’s reign has been 40 year olds and losing to a fat guy in Ruiz. Hardly a solid reign, he lost all the belts once already in his embarrassing US debut

Ruiz is garbage by the way. His whole career has been mediocre except one night against AJ. Embarrassing that AJ lost to him if AJ was supposed to be the best HW in the world at the time. Just shows Joshua’s level when he isn’t fighting old men.
