Is it just me or does Anthony Joshua have a very loserish fanbase?

While I agree, I think fanboys of any fighter can be annoying. It's almost impossible to have a normal conversation with them because they won't even entertain the thought that whoever it is they are fanboying over can make a mistake or have a bad performance or anything that suggests that the fighter is not absolute perfection - it's too offensive to them and before a conversation can be had, you end up going in circles arguing the semantics of a slight criticism that you made that may have very little to do with the point you're trying to make but now you have to explain what you mean because the fanboy is offended.

That's the problem I have with AJ fans. The main problem I have with them is that most of them aren't even fans of AJ, they're Eddie Hearn fans and only care about AJ because he's Hearn's fighter. There are so many Eddie fans on this site that would **** on Canelo like many do but as soon as he started working with Hearn, they're in here doing whatever they can to defend him.

It's annoying, all fanboys are annoying, fanboys of promoters are weirdos because they're not interested in the sport but rather the drama of all the media negotiations. Having said all of that, I won't let it put me off the fighter. AJ is one of the best heavyweights in the world, and a classy guy that's good for the sport.

It's your definition of a real champion. By your own definition Fury isn't and Joshua is. You just made out title defences are important by having a reign but you're now trying to downplay the importance of them. You want to flip flop and change the standard when it suits you. But the problem is AJ defended belts mostly against 40 year olds. All of his belts are also ones Fury never lost in the ring.

Joshua hasn’t exactly had a good reign, he lost the belts once to a fat bum Ruiz. Getting flattened in his only USA fight lol. Ruiz is garbage, he just struggled with and got dropped by a 40 year old Arreola. Look what Wilder did to Arreola. Ruiz is not a good fighter and he took AJ’s belts

I’d rather take belts off long reigning champs and have no defences yet, than be picking up easy titles and losing them to a fat fringe contender like Ruiz.

AJ is lucky he had Eddie’s money to buy him easy title shots and rematch clauses. Otherwise he may have never been champ and wouldn’t be now.
