Mayweather is always in shape and the layoff is not as important as the weight he has to make ,I see a slow start for PBF but a late KO to seal his return ,forget overated Pacman he looses to Cotto by KO ,then PBF has to choose between the lesser of of 2 ,pressure fighting of Cotto or speed of Mosley.

DLH should never have fought below 154 anymore. Besides, it's not like he did that poorly against Mayweather. Split decision. Had DLH let his hands go a bit more and actually stuck to the jab, he may have stolen one.

At any rate, people can still choose to hate Mayweather even if he wins. I don't think too many people are vested in JMM's success, so there's no crow for them to eat; they want Mayweather to finally take on the best WW's like Cotto, Mosley, etc., before claiming to have been a champion at any level in that division.

actually, IMO, the layoff and the weight are one in the same....that's the reason they have training camps in the nba and the nfl, and spring training in the mlb. even the guys that are "true professionals," that stay in qulity shape for the mos part, will tell you, there's no substitute for being in "game shape."

stop doing anything for 2 years, and decide to do jump right back in, and see if you're as good as you were....i expect floyd to start slowly, and i expect a close fight throughout, but mayweather pulls it out late, and possibly stops JMM. marquez wins, this will no doubt be the biggest upset in sports, in the last 10 years or so.....

Marquez struggled but adjusted to Casa and also got pounced around like a rag doll by J.Diaz. Now Marquez is moving up in weight to fight Mayweather. Floyd spanks Marquez, end of story and also please end this debate already.

Marquez will not be comfortable at that higher weight especially against Floyd.
