Mayweather is always in shape and the layoff is not as important as the weight he has to make ,I see a slow start for PBF but a late KO to seal his return ,forget overated Pacman he looses to Cotto by KO ,then PBF has to choose between the lesser of of 2 ,pressure fighting of Cotto or speed of Mosley.

DLH just was and always will be slower than Mayweather.

mayweather will win
I can't wait until the day after the fight to see all of you Mayweather haters eat your words. Mayweather is not Pacman....and you will see what the true lb for lb king can and will do after a 2 year layoff. You know....the job of a hater must be really tough.....I love it.....All you JMM fans....don't make me call Chris John.....so he can whip JMM @ss again. Remember this.....he's undefeated for a reason....the difference in the @ss whooping that Pac gave JMM will be that Pretty Boy / Money / lb for lb Mayweather will whip his @ss slow....and prolong that butt whoopin. JMM won't be the same after this fight....Of course he's going to whine and say that he got robbed...just like he always does....but one things for sure...Pretty boy will be the winner. Don't be surprised if JMM retires after the fight. Love him or hate him (haters included LOL) he is going to bust that @ss. Save your **** talking for the day after....We can all wish for things to happen...you know....1 million bucks, fancy cars...and a win over Mayweather LOL It is what it is....wishful thinking. WILL THE REAL MAYWEATHER FANS PLEASE STAND UP!!!

At any rate, people can still choose to hate Mayweather even if he wins. I don't think too many people are vested in JMM's success, so there's no crow for them to eat; they want Mayweather to finally take on the best WW's like Cotto, Mosley, etc., before claiming to have been a champion at any level in that division.Last edited by Brassangel; 08-25-2009, 10:18 PM.

According to Floyd, he himself is the undesputed p4p #1. He's got nothing left to prove, he just wants money. He's got a ***** beating uncle for a trainer, and he himself likes to get in gun altercations with his posse.
No doubt that Floyd has amazing skills, but I just question his hunger.
I can reserve that judgement until I see some 24/7 episodes.
say what you will about floyd, but i guarantee you, he, like hopkins, won't take a fight they feel they shouldn't win...for what's its worth.

stop doing anything for 2 years, and decide to do jump right back in, and see if you're as good as you were....i expect floyd to start slowly, and i expect a close fight throughout, but mayweather pulls it out late, and possibly stops JMM. marquez wins, this will no doubt be the biggest upset in sports, in the last 10 years or so.....

Marquez will not be comfortable at that higher weight especially against Floyd.
Marquez has a chin that will get punched off when he's in the ring with Floyd.
If you think a guy that gets staggered by Juan Pillowman Diaz, and got hit and countered continuously by Casamayor has even the slightest chance against former #1 p4p Mayweather, then you're crazy.
Don't expect Mayweather to get caught up in the moment and start trading punches with Marquez. He's incredibly disciplined and will stick with his gameplan.
I like Marquez, but it's going to be like Mayweather vs Hatton all over again come Sept. 19th. Mayweather by KO.
