Pavlik vs Green Considered if Williams Deal Falls

i don't give a dam if he fights green or not.and i still say green knocks his ***** ass out. the thing that bothers me is pavlik ducked abraham who was a champion at 160. but kelli will fight little rubio,martinez,mora,and williams. thats bull**** and you know it. williams has no power at 160.kelli is a scared *****

I was hard on Pavlik in the aftermath of Abraham moving up in weight. But looking back at it, I think it may be more of a case of HBO not showing any interest in the fight and not willing to financially back it. You've got to remember that two fighters can be willing to fight, but if the TV network isn't willing to put up the proper money for it, the fight won't happen. I just never heard HBO say they were interested in that fight. It sucks. But it is what it is.

i wrote off green as a headcase. and never could understand the hype from his fans. think they were mostly contender show kiddys.

BUTT, his last outing against deleon, not that carlos is a world beater at world ranked35, greene sure did look good! and it was a step up i guess.

butt can see this being a viable meaningfull fight for both kelly and al at this time.

i think even a miserable looking pavlik from the bernard fight schools green.

kelli was'nt willing to fight regardless of what hbo wanted to do or not. there's a protection pattern going on with him and paquiao. i see right through top rank.

For some reason HBO didnt want Pavlik-Abraham or even Pavlik-Sturm. Thats sucks because I really think they both would have fought. Oh well it could still happen.

As for Green, cant the middleweight champ fight middleweights? Ever since he got the belts they always want him to move around. Forget Green, I hope P.Williams steps up and takes the fight.

Williams is commiting an even bigger duck than Pavlik did against Abraham when you stop to think about it. The only thing that makes it look less blatant is the fact that Pavlik may be more filled out at 160. HBO never put up any money for a Pavlik-Abraham fight even though Abraham said he wanted to fight Pavlik. There is no excuse however, for this fight between Paul and Kelly not to happen. But Williams is the one stalling it.

Williams is already guaranteed the date of Oct 3rd on HBO. Pavlik is the one begging for a date!!
