It's funny how you don't like PACQUIAO'S ways..COMING from a guy who has MAYWEATHER as his avatar....I guess you like fighters that talk to much **** and disrespectful to boxing.. Paq is from the Phillipines which is one of the poorest countries in the world you dumbass. PR's may not be able to afford the PPV but the Pino's can't afford a TV or electricity you dumb ****, they live in cardboard and wood houses on the street. They buy one PPV and fill up the arena's in order for as many people to see the fight. There is a reason that prior to DLH Paq's bissest PPV draw was only 400k against a Mexican who have the biggest PPV buys in history. As for the split purse, I think Cotto was able to pick the weight and depending on how low Cotto was willing to go was the size of payday for the fight. I think Cotto wanted some money which is why he said 145 rather than 147, if it was at 147 it might have only been 80/20 I think. I think it just proves Cotto wants the fight more than the money. Also, as stated Cotto has more options than Paq at this point if he decides to decline the deal. The only other option for Paq is Mosley, and at that point Mosley will have the leverage because Paq won't have any options after that.

As per someone saying that Cotto's career is over if he loses... if he gets KO'd like Hatton then maybe, but if its a close fight like Paq's JMM fights it might elevate him as it did JMM. The guy has drawn and lost to Paq and he's getting a shot at Floyd, I wouldn't exactly call that a step down.

Zab is a southpaw and you just stated he could land a straight right all the time, there are two things wrong with that statement. The first a straight right for a southpaw is called a jab, and secondly Cotto was never hurt by a "straight jab" from Zab, it was his left uppercut and counter left hook/straight left. As for size not being a difference I really didn't even want to reply but Marg didn't put a "hurting" on Cotto until the 7th round and on, if it wasn't for Margs insanely strong chin he'd been KO'd had he been anyone else. Paq has been rocked at 130 by JMM with a left hook, JMM is a right handed hitter. Paqs chin isn't THAT good, its definitely nowhere near Margarito's and Paqs never even been touched with power as good as Cotto's. You're hero isn't as strong as a BIG WW, get a grip on reality man.

I have no clue what your last paragraph said, but you made it seem like that is a bad thing, that Cotto got what he wanted. Obviously you misunderstood my entire post in that Cotto cares more about the fight, than the money. He just wants a shot at Cotto and is putting his belt on the line in the process. The belt is for the WW division which is at 147, not 145. So if the time comes Paq is going to get to choose the weight at which to defend said title? That's worse than Mayweathers ass, at least he admits that he won't fight someone, Paq will as long as he gets to choose the wieght.
