Something cotto honestly don't have, if you looked at the first & only lost," manny/morales" where manny got a bloody face & fough with 1 eye open, he still able fough back til 12 he got pressure from EM on the ropes all the time. As far as Cotto he just couldn't stand the pressure from Margo, he had to take a knee & it will happen once again on nov 14
Pac by TKO 11 or 12 rounds;
Velazquez lost to Vasquez/kelley/Peden/R. Juarez/ which is 10 times much better than Jennings which i cannot even mention his opponents. I know he got one lost to cotto & another lost to Young Mutley.
Do you know who is "Young Mutley" ?
As for the split purse, I think Cotto was able to pick the weight and depending on how low Cotto was willing to go was the size of payday for the fight. I think Cotto wanted some money which is why he said 145 rather than 147, if it was at 147 it might have only been 80/20 I think. I think it just proves Cotto wants the fight more than the money. Also, as stated Cotto has more options than Paq at this point if he decides to decline the deal. The only other option for Paq is Mosley, and at that point Mosley will have the leverage because Paq won't have any options after that.
As per someone saying that Cotto's career is over if he loses... if he gets KO'd like Hatton then maybe, but if its a close fight like Paq's JMM fights it might elevate him as it did JMM. The guy has drawn and lost to Paq and he's getting a shot at Floyd, I wouldn't exactly call that a step down.

Manny is half an inch shorter than Cotto, doesn't make any difference at all
Manny will put a beating on cotto regardless he needs to put on xtra 20, 30lb or not. only concern is how he react to cotto power, hey, cotto is strong fighter & fighting Pacman he might step in ring at 165 depending who he fight.
it all depend how Pacquiao could set-up his attack, Zab is able land str8 right all the time but lack of mental toughness & not a great finisher. paquiao is a great finisher he will not hesitate. sounds crazy but sometime crazy things could turn into a issue that we discuss every day, if pacman want it badly he could put a beating on cotto
sure Cotto wanted some money which is why he said 145 rather than 147
I never heard of a elite fighter who sacrifice to train hard without getting compensate ??? that's pretty ******ed!
you forget to mention 145 was suggest it by his nutrionist, so they got what they wanted. Now that ricky hatton is consider as hype job or a piece of ****
on nov 14 it add another piece fo **** or a hype job on Pac resume by the name MIGUEL COTTO!
