A lot of the Cotto fans on here view you as one of the biggest Cotto detractors even though you don't ruthlessly bash him like someone like Flawless does. Lol. What advantages do you feel that Cotto has in this fight besides his size? Pacquiao is on top of his game right now, and Cotto hasn't been impressive in his last several fights. I think the speed and stamina advantage that Manny has is going to carry the day. I also don't think that Cotto is going to assume the role of the aggressor in this fight. And if you have him punching off the back foot, Cotto's punches are a lot less effective. Cotto is able to steal rounds that way, but it won't work with someone that has the hand speed of Pacquiao.

WHy is everyone worried about Cottos stamina? If he has a good game plan he will get those tough body shots in and it will slow manny down
he should get manny out by the 6 or 7 rd.
so stamina shouldt be an issue. I doubt Manny hits harder than Tony with plaster.

in a fair fight cotto would lose, but pac giving up 10 lbs to cotto is just too big.

yeah, but cotto was able to hang w/ mosley and judah in the speed department. as for the stamina, it won't matter because pac won't be able to pressure cotto like clottey and margo.

cotto will be cotto, he will be aggressive early then tire out around round 6 then counterpunch for the rest of the fight.

the difference will be that cotto will be fighting a midget this time instead of a huge WW.

Everyone knows Cotto's one major flaw is his defense. As much as a lot of Cotto fans probably don't want to admit, Mayweather Sr. is probably the best defense trainer in the biz. His personality is another thing, but he might wanna look into that. Steward likes tall fighters, Cotto really isn't his type of fighter.
