Who cares if he comes? Arum wanted him to come to try to sell the Cotto fight to him. He's not dumb he's going after Mayweather, real money.

He's earned the right to go where he wants?

Unlike most fighters he isn't in it for just the money & fame. He's in it for his country, for his people. He's a symbol of hope, no amount of money can buy you that kind of accalation.

It's high time for Pacman to pay the sport of boxing something, his mere presence there is more than enough. I know he doesn't owe anybody anything, but I always respect and admire athletes who gives something back to the sport that provided them the wealth, honor and acknowledgment that was accorded to them. That's the least he can do to boxing, after what boxing has done to him...

the more exposure you get , the more money he'll make.

he needs to understand it's a business. act more professional.

I don't care if Pac's future fights bombed out from hereon in Tua, it's not all about the money, or the PPV buys, it's paying back the sport that's been good to you through all these years. All they were asking for was his mere presence...

              C'mon Manny. go to NYC...
Having a family vacation during this time just does not
justify it. You can have the break anytime you want.
The honor of being awarded Fighter of the Year comes
              once in a blue moon.

You should go there not just because you are now the ambassador of the sport, but also
becaused you need to receive the recognition on behalf of the people you have sacrificed so much for.

So cut the crap and get your butt on that plane.

i'm talking about what is good for him , his interests.

obviously for the sport it would be nice for him to show up.

good publicity for the sport to be on national tv.

the media should wait for him, and besides he is going on holiday with his family.

Where Manny Pacquiao is from there is a big emphasis on family, something some western cultures could learn about.
