Going up only two pounds means he did not have to melt down at all before the fight to make weight. Floyd does not do it either.

Oscar melted muscle off way before the fight date. He was at Welterweight 3 Weeks before the fight! They said it themselves.

Also as I said up above Rod, a weight drained fighter will not sweat. I know this because I used to struggle to make 156lbs 22 years ago and struggled every time. I would have a fight and could never get warmed up or sweat. I paid the price for it too in the end. A weight drained fighter will not sweat. A body will prevent itself from sweating to preserve what it has.

And there is your problem , he had no substance thats why his body had nothing to rehydrate into , he should have done it the standard way by being around 12 to 14 pounds over WW and then dried out to weight , he tried being cute and dieted down over a long time , it hurt him badly , you should not experiment for the Grand final .

I understand what your saying Dean , if you look at Floyd he is full and pumped at the higher weights very rounded ,, Oscar looked waif like , Im not saying Oscar was dehydrated Im saying he was weight drained , his fluid was ok hence the sweating but his body had no meat no substance his long term dieting ate his muscles , there is a big difference between to two states .

wat is up with these top fighters? pacman used to be the guy that wanted everybody. But ever since he got #1 then knocked out hatton, he has been a ducking machine. Both mayweather and pacman need to stop making excuses and fight each other.

Sugar Shane Mosley needs to stop trying to get in the ring
with Pacquiao and just focus on the guys in his division and
make his own legacy. I've been speaking out against Mosley
and his desperate antics but as much as it is disappointing
for Mosley to be doing this, it is also disappointing for Manny
and his adviser's to be entertaining this fight knowing damn
well that Mosley ain't going to get Manny. I am just baffled
on how Mosley just can't get it through his thick skull that
he is not an option. I think it is really a shame that a great
fighter like Shane has been broke down to this. Manny and
his team must be laughing at Mosley.

why cant people just understand, and process that Oscar was drained, cool Manny won the fight but that was not the Oscar were used to seeing. Even Roach admitted to this first Roach said Oscar couldnt pull the trigger, which was true. Then he admitted Oscar was drained for the fight. There was an iv mark on his arm and when Freddy spotted it, he told Manny to jump on Oscar knowing Oscar was unhealthy. Manny fought an Old Oscar who couldnt pull the trigger plus he was weight drained. Not to mention not even a top 10 WW, Manny does not belong at WW point blank he WILL get swallowed

at a catch weight and people bashed the **** out of him. Now
the supposedly best p4p fighter who has fought comfortably at
WW before against De La Hoya won't even fight Mosley at 144?
People say JMM is at a disadvantage because he hasn't fought
at a higher weight and is going straight for Floyd but if you look
at it, JMM fought two tougher fights at 135 than Pac did at
WW & JW. If Floyd did this to a fighter all hell would have broke
                loose.
Supposedly??? Manny is THE P4P#1 fighter in the world rivaled only to JMM. Floyd better earn that spot, quit defending him.

PACMAN starting his own trend of boxing.

PACMAN BOXING TREND = weight draining the fighter before he fight them.

DELAHOYA BOXING TREND = picking on small fighter.

MAYWEATHER BOXING TREND = picking a fighter he can beat.

pacman team made delahoya wt.drained and now they want mosley too.
*** that.... if you pacman cant **** with the WW then stay the hell out.
go fight on 140 or 135 division.

at least mayweather jr didnt asked delahoya for a catchweight when he
fought him. they say mayweather jr is a ***** for ducking a fighter,
making the fighter drain weight is even worst than what mayweather are
                    doin.
