Pac can't beat Shane at 147 and i think he knows it. Shane shouldn't fight lower than 147. Shane should fight Cotto. Pac should take on Mayweather.

      then don't make the fight

Neither one is fair when you stop to think about it.
exactly... all those dudes are too big for pac, with the except for floyd who is a small WW

But I'd rather see Pacquiao fight these guys at 147 for their belts or else not fight them at all.
I'd rather see WWs fight themselves than fight a little jr WW.

He's pulled this crap with Erik Morales and that's why everybody is able to see through the fog machine of his victory over De La Hoya like a picture frame. Shane Mosley doesn't need to fall for this bull**** and be ****** into his game. He holds the aces in his hand at 147 and he shouldn't have to be begging for a big money fight like that. I'm sure that Cotto will be more than happy to give him a rematch since his contract will be up with Arum after the fight with Clottey. And if Clottey happens to beat Cotto I'm sure he'd cut off a finger to fight Shane.
As I recall, Morales lost to Raheem at Lightweight before losing twice to Pacquiao at Jr. Lightweight and then lost again to David Diaz at Lightweight. If he lost to Pacquiao for the sole reason that Roach and Pacquiao pulled a fast one on him on the matter of weight , why did he have those two losses against Raheem and Diaz at the higher weight as well?

And, if his problem was still weight at the 135-lbs. limit, why did he not go up to Jr. Welter? Was his quest for a niche' in Mexican boxing history not sufficient to spur him on to seek a 4th world title at Jr. Welter where he could have been more comfortable?

Was weight really his problem? Or, did he simply have a few fights too many at that stage?

Note: Officially, Morales outweighed Diaz by more than a pound (135 to 133 and three quarters) and Raheem by 1 lbs. (134 to 133)

I agree Morales was on the downslide of his career. It was his own doing to try his hand at 135. But that doesn't mean that Pacquiao couldn't have fought him at Lightweight instead of making him come back down to 130. Of course, some of the blame needs to go on these guys for caving in to Pacquiao's demands, but the criticism of Pacquiao not fighting some of the guys that he's beat at their best weight is warranted. I'm not saying Morales would have beaten Manny at a higher weight in the second and third fights, but he would have probably made the fights more competitive.

morales had 3 chances to beat pac. he took the first one and got KTFO in the next 2. I dunno what else people want... do they want pac/morales IV and V too?

Shane Mosley was on ESPN saying that Floyd should fight welterweights at 147. Now he is willing to kill himself to come in under 147. Brian Kenny needs to talk about this if you interview Shane agin.
