A lot of people view me as a Cotto detractor and that's their perrogative. But I think the aspects about this fight being competitive could be more sizzle than steak. If Clottey shows up and decides to go into a shell and be all inconsistent with his offense in the late rounds like he did in the fight with Margarito, I'm not gonna give Cotto that much credit for the victory. If Cotto expects to convince someone like me that he has recooperated from that Margarito fight he is going to have to rematch Shane Mosley in Vegas. I don't have a big fuss about the decision of the first fight, but Mosley is in the driver's seat as being recognized as the best fighter at 147 due to crushing Margarito. And I don't want to hear about any of that plaster garbage. There's no proof that Margarito used it in his fight with Cotto.

Margarito's defense is sub par, Clottey ain't. Margarito worked Clottey's body all night and he didn't budge except for maybe a couple of times later in the fight since that was all Tony could hit through that tight ass defense of Clottey. Of course anyone can be knocked out but I still stand on my statement, Quitto won't be able to KO Clottey, there is a much more possibility for Quitto to get KO'd due to the loopholes on his defense and his proven glassy chin.

Why don' t we hear any top welter fighter saying they would fight Clottey if he beats Cotto? Why? Simple, because they are all afraid of Clottey. Just like Clottey said, that have been his tougher fight. He will beat Cotto just like he says. I like the athlete he is not also for his boxing skills but also for the humble person he is. He could be screaming his heart out saying he is going to eat, destroy, abuse Cotto but not Clottey. Finally hes starting to realize he has to be more aggressive to the media in order to generate the recognition he deserve (look at mayweather). Again, there is only one welter fighter at the moment who have a real chance against this great athlete and this is Paul Williams. I will love to see this match once hi finishes Cotto.
