No doubt Mosley is a vet and a smart fighter but MAN I watched Cotto school Marg. He was boxing his ass off. He made Marg look like a bum. Marg just never stopped punching and when those gloves got hard you could clearly tell.

Post fight Cotto makes notice and saying he has NEVER been hit that hard (or something along those lines)..... What did Mosley say after his fight.... I dont remember him saying anything about Marg punching hard. Mosley face didnt have a scratch..... maybe because just before the fight Marg was cought and had to take out the plaster..... unlike when he fought Cotto...

Anyway I just hope they get a rematch..... it would sell.

his biggest flaw is the fact that he doesn't adapt well under pressure
or fighting backing up. Cotto is a forward pressure fighter and that
night the bigger pressure fighter won the duel. ****m gave Mosley
a sound plan to beat Margarito by neutralizing his pressure and
Cotto didn't/couldn't do that. Watch the fight again and when
they interview Mosley after the Marg KO. Mosley hardly got hit
but when he did he said he felt it. Cotto got hit clearly too much
in his fight. I'm not talking about the plaster I'm talking about
how Cotto fought from the beginning of the bell. He never paced
himself and got burned out halfway through the fight & that's when
Margarito took over and for the record Cotto never hurt Margarito.

plan to get to the body. Mosley started off with setting up the
body shots. Cotto would land a devastating 2, 3 punch combination
and move away giving Margarito time to recover and jog towards

asked after the fight "Why didn't you clinch or hold?" and Cotto
said "Because that is not boxing"? Come on man, Cotto just
didn't fight smart aside from the speculation of the Plaster.

the 1st bold: you must have missed the last 3 rds of the mosley fight, he was boxing and moving around mosley and he was the one landing the better punches.

on tha 2nd: the only PR fighter in history that knew how to clinch was Macho Camacho and he got a lot of hate cus of it. I personally think clinching is def a skill that needs to be teach to a boxer from the get go.

#1 KO'd the guy that beat #2 but #2 beat #1? That
fight has make it happen written all over it. After
Cotto/Clottey IF Cotto wins he needs to fight Mosley
because Floyd is fighting JMM in July and then going
for Pac and Pac is gunning for Floyd, no matter if
Arum don't want it to happen or not, it's going to
happen. Cotto/Mosley to determine who's the
real man at 147 then the winner takes on Pac/Floyd
winner......That's the biggest you can go right there.
