Mayweather’s Hit List Includes Pacquiao, Mosley, Cotto

You must've seen a different fight than I did with Cotto and Mosley, because in my view Cotto didn't outbox Mosley at all. I'm one of the fans who think Shane got ripped off in that fight. I've even heard you say on the ESPN forums in the past that Cotto barely squeaked by Shane. Remember in the 10th round of where Mosley rocked Cotto's ass and Benji Estevez broke the action up to wipe up a wet spot? And the power punch stats favored Mosley even though the total punch stat was even. To be fair, even though I'm an admitted Floyd detractor I never viewed Cotto as a threat to Floyd, and I've never given Mayweather that much negative criticism for not fighting him because Cotto has always acted too reserved when it comes to mentioning his name. Williams and Shane would beat Floyd in my view however. Even though Williams is managed by Haymon like Floyd is he said he'd fight him in a heart beat in that post-fight interview with Merchant after the Margarito victory. And Floyd asked, "Who is Paul Williams?" Shane has been chasing Floyd's duck footprints. Floyd saw how easy Shane handled Collazo and he went after the easier fight in Hatton after Shane called his ass out. That tooth bull**** was just to make way for Oscar's chance at him and that was before the Collazo fight. Floyd probably saw that Margarito destruction too and thought that he couldn't do the same thing cause of his girlie ass hands. And he's gonna fight JMM now, but to me this is where it gets interesting. JMM might not pose the same kind of challenge as Shane or Paul but he's better than Baldomir, Hatton and DLH. And Floyd probably didn't take the fight by choice. HBO layed the hammer down on his handpickin ways.

Cotto did squeak by Mosley. The fight was very close but Cotto
gave Mosley problems with his boxing abilities to the surprise of
Mosley and you could see in Mosley's face when he hit Cotto
at times with power shots. The ref sure did save Cotto's ass
but Cotto won so whatever. Mosley did his share of refusing to
fight Floyd. Floyd moved up from 140 to 147 to go after Oscar
and Mosley. All this is documented but some people refuse to
see it no matter how many times I post it. After Bruseles
Floyd said he is going up to 147 for Shane/Oscar. Floyd was
hungry coming up and wanted his shot at the top and not
convinced that he would not be willing to fight the top guys
to get to where he is going. Luis Collazo? Come on man....
Luis is good but Mosley went to a decision with an injured
Collazo and NO WAY is Collazo on Floyd's level. Margarito
was always overrated, all you needed to do is have a game plan
to neutralize his pressure and power and you could beat him.
If your familiar with my posts then you would know that I said
that about Margarito and also that Cotto was going to lose to
Margarito.

and his advisor cosigned that they do have one and will stick to it.
First you were mad that he retired and now that he is back your
mad because he is saying that he is going to fight these guys?

Floyd because YOU think that he is a fraud? Rocky Marciano

Floyd Mayweather Jr is back and ready to fight and no matter if you
want to believe he will fight Cotto/Mosley or not, fact of the matter
is that **** is in the open and they are on his radar. Who gives a
**** if he didn't then because now is now and it is what it is. Why
don't you just get over yourself and just be happy that the man is
back to fight some more and it gives you a chance to believe and
see if he will lose or not.

LIsten hear..The only guy who has a real chance of beating mayweather is sugar shane mosley. He matches the speed and the power. Not saying pacman doesnt, but he has been knockout out twice with one punch. Marquez hurt pacman a few times in the fight so what do you think mayweather is going to do. Cotto, now thats a big joke...he has no chin been down on the canverse on numerous occasions. Pretty boy will drag him into the later rounds and then use his speed to set up his power punches. Cotto is as good as done. Cotto is not even goin to get pass clottey. Listen, mosley is the only one on that hit list that has the heart and will be there for the 12 rounds. Peaceee

lol I think that's what hes getting at is Mayweather could fight and beat Mosley, Cotto, Marg, Pwill and people will still say he didn't do this or didn't do that....

Its funny though because people give Mayweather **** for not taking on "real" WW yet now that he and his camp made this list they are giving him **** for it. It don't make any sense. DO they want him to fight WW's or not? I can see if he had called out fighters like Vic Darchinyan (super flyweight), Nonito Donaire (flyweight), Edgar Sosa (light flyweight) etc etc but he didn't he called out solid WW.....

So they get mad that he wont face a "REAl" WW yet when he calls them out makes this verbal attempt they cry and complain? Which is it? Do people want him to fight WW's or not?

After seeing what Shane did to Margarito I think he was overrated too, but that doesn't mean that I think that Floyd wouldn't have had a difficult time with him when it came to certain things. He would have had to work for the victory because Shane has a lot more pop than Floyd. Margo did get found out to be a cheating scum bag so he isn't even a factor anymore in my book, but it's just the idea that he was a worthy opponent for Floyd in a lot of people's view, especially after he smashed Cotto.
