Pacquiao twice, and a rematch with Canelo for the lineal middleweight title. I wonder if that is Mayweather's intention.

Pacquiao weighs around the same as Mayweather on fight night. We have the evidence.
Provide us the evidence that Pacquiao weighs in fully clothed and Mayweather naked.
Pacquiao fans like to make out Pacquiao is much smaller than everyone he's fought but thats simply not true. He's outweighed Bradley and JMM at WW and was the bigger guy in almost every fight at 130 and below that i have seen on the tale of the tape.
Blown up is when you put too much weight on for your frame. That's simply not true with Pacquiao. He's a small WW but not much smaller than Mayweather 1 or 2 lbs. We don't separate size by height and reach in boxing but by weight.

Hatton?? Maybe because the fight happened at 140, but floyd had 3 fights at ww at the time they fought against 2 natural jr ww's and a small ww, while hatton fought once against collazo.. so imo floyd didnt have much of an advantage going into that fight.. it was really two jr ww's fighting for the ww title...yeah pac got the ko at 140, but fatton got beaten and koed first by floyd so both fighters should get about the same credit imo..i mean fatton had to lose more weight to fight pac, lets not forget. And nobody thought feather fisted floyd would knock out hatton.lol
Holyfield was too smll for hw but was still regarded as the best heavyweight for almost 10 years, so lets not use pacs size to diminish the fact he has fought at ww for the last 5-6 years and that his body hasnt grown into the weightclass... jjm is even considered a ww now, why wouldnt pac? LolOriginally posted by Isaac Clarke View PostOn fight night Pacquiao weighs around the same (150) as Mayweather.Originally posted by drenlou View PostExactly, i agree!! At this point they are two natural welterweights! I dont understand why pac fans seem to disagree with that notion?
Remember that Oscar did make 150 the fight before and only had to go down to 147 not 145. The reason that Oscar wanted to come in so light was a strategy that backfired on him. His camp knew that Manny is much faster than Oscar. So by coming in light, Oscar thought that it would be good so that he can gain speed. It backfired. He should have rehydrated properly and at least have the weight advantage over Manny.
Hatton:
You forgot that Floyd had already fought at 154 and won. So can't say that Floyd just had 3 fights at WW.
Manny:
Of course he is a WW. He has been there for years, had a title and now currently has a title. My point is that WW was not Manny's best division. It is where he can make the big fights and there are the bigger names. If Floyd, Oscar, Mosley were all JWW, Manny would be at JWW as well. Yes, he would go up to try WW and get another title there. When Manny made the climb in divisions, it was not like Manny moved up to WW because his body outgrew 135/140. Even now Manny said he may go down to 140. Floyd didn't even make 144 against Marquez even though that was the initial contract and that was in 2009.

Winky now??? In 2005 when floyd fought gatti at 140, who and where was winky fighting that year??? Oh yeah felix trinidad at 160. Lol did wright ever fight again at `54 or did he continue to fight at 160 and eventually 170 against hopkins??so lets be honest was floyd vs winky really a realistic fight??? Cmon man, its ok.. you can tell the truth!
Edit: mosely fought vargas twice that year once in feb. And again in july... floyd had fought once against judah... you say mosely wanted to fight a few months later, but didnt say that in his post fight interview after his ko of vargas... he elwcted to get his tooth fixed and go on vacation with his family... floyd fought the lineal champ(sad but true) baldomir while i believe mosely stayed unactive until cotto?(correct me if wrong). But then got the 2 mega fights against oscar and hatton...floyd negotiated a rematch with oscar, while cotto had fights with gomez and marg set, then mosely fought mayorga.. floyd retires and mosely becomes the lineal.. we all know what happened next!
That is the point. Floyd calls them out but when the possible opponent calls his bluff, Floyd is not as interested anymore. How come?
So you said that Floyd called out Mosley even at 130. Well, Mosley was not fighting at 130. Did Floyd jump up to 147 and fight there when Mosley was there? How about when Mosley was at 154? That is what Floyd had to do if he was serious BUT knowledgeable fans got that. It would also put pressure to get a fight.
Winky:
Floyd called out Winky. He said he would KO Winky. Winky's team said OK, lets negotiate a fight.
Winky's team had agreed at all of Floyd's demands. 154 CW, OK. Floyd wanted a rehydration limit and Winky said OK. 50/50, OK.
When they(Winky) were ready to sign the contract, Floyd changes the demands again and says he wants more than 50/50.Remember that Floyd back then was not the PPV draw of today.
BACK to Mosley and Oscar:
So you say that Winky was not a realistic fight because Winky was in a different weight division but so was Mosley and Oscar.
Mosley:
If you go back and check the interviews, Mosley did say it in some of his interviews. He even said that he spoke to Floyd's team directly about it!
Secondly, you check 2007, 2008, 2009, Mosley kept on calling Floyd out. What happened? Oh yeah, Floyd said NO! That was an interested Floyd?
As for your question, no. Mosley did exactly what I told you. He wanted to fight Floyd a few months later than the November date and did. He fought Collazo sometime early February.

Floyd comes back to beat marquez, shane goes in the ring to confront floyd.
Floyd takes the year off, mosely vs berto falls through, mayweather beats mosely to become lineal. At least thats how i remember it..."but floyd beat past prime mosely doe"..so it doesnt count!!! Lol
Mosley didn't take the year off. He fought a few months after Floyd fought Baldomir. Just like he said. Mosley kept on calling out Mosley late 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009. Mosley said "Floyd is growing feathers". I think that was in 2007. So as I said before, so Floyd was interested in Mosley? Sure he was.

Shame really. He shouldn't have ducked a faded Mayweather over those drug tests. Agreed on all points.Originally posted by ADP02 View PostThe other poster said that it doesn't matter when you fight someone. Its the same. So I gave an example that he too should get.
If they fight, the winner will get credit but like we have been telling you for the last little while, Floyd blew it. Why? See my other post above this one on what Floyd, yes Floyd says about 2014 version of Manny.Originally posted by ADP02 View PostFinally you are getting it!
Floyd's legs are not shot that he cannot move. Roach is exaggerating the point that Floyd doesn't move the same as he used to.
Yes, it works both ways. Whoever wins, both sides will say this. BUT having said all that, come May, it is still important to be the one who won the 2015 fight.Originally posted by GoldenGloveLove View PostListen, the bottom line is Holyfield is shot and if you don't agree with that you're just racist. That's the point we've been discussing. Keep it on topic.Originally posted by ADP02 View Post? What are you even talking about here? Maybe you posted this in the wrong thread?Originally posted by GoldenGloveLove View PostDon't play dumb with me now, AD. Holy ducked Lewis when Lewis was prime then tried to fight him when he was old and FAILED. Now Holy is shot. Where is your god now?
Again, where did Holyfield/Lewis come in the picture? Why are you even bringing up race when you are mentioning the names Lewis/Holyfied? That is just weird and not part of our discussion.

Mosley said lets do it a few months later. What did your hero say? Plus, Floyd said that he was ready to retire. Do you want no name Baldomir or Mosley in your resume if you are getting ready to retire .THINK!!!
What did Floyd say when Mosley continued to ask for the fight in 2007? Floyd said no. Its all there but I'm sure that you can't be bothered with something called facts.
