Hopkins: "Froch Can Be a Superstar By Fighting Me"

I'm not sure you can say Froch is "much tougher" than Kelly Kris. Pavlik is one tough guy.

Yup, had already edited the 'very' out in hindsight. I maintain he's tougher though. And I'm not someone whom compliments Froch easily, I prefer Kelly easily.

But Froch has a tougher chin slightly imo, he's a tougher character mentally because he will not be phased or put off for longer periods as easily. Someones already said Kelly allowed himself to be confused and broken down by Hopkins. Froch as he's shown, would not, in fair ness to him. Because, he's tougher. He is also bigger, and slightly meaner if you ask me, I reckon he takes a lot of joy out of knocking folk out. Which is not to say he will Nard of course as he won't, but still.

That's fine, but just remember that Froch has never fought anyone as tough or as good as Hopkins. Hopkins has a way of making tough guys appear to be scared little girls. He may not appear so tough by the end of a fight against Hopkins.

Fully aware of that mate, I'm an admirer of Hops. I'm not saying Froch will definitely be completely fearless or fine. Simply that he won't be quite as phased and scared, confused looking as Kelly. Because, I think he's tougher. That's all.

I don't know anyone off hand whom thinks Calzaghe actually fully signed to fight Jones and loads of people, and they backed out.

Certainly most on here, fans of anyone, are just aware that he was finalising a deal with Hopkins, I think Joe mighta signed this one I'm not sure off hand now, and Hopkins pulled out right at the last second. There's no dis*****g this so why are you? He never signed to fight Jones or vice versa, Calzaghe did however call Jones out a few times, which you've been linked before. Not blaming one side wholely, nothing more then that, nothing less.

Stop ranting cynically about mythical people saying all kinds of other stuff. It shows real ignorance and bias, which discredits you.



Hopkins does not destroy Froch, because he couldn't quite finish Kelly, and Froch is bigger, tougher, probably wouldn't get hit quite as much, and is unlikely to be KO'd by Nard. He does win though, I agree, and I want him to.

Pavlik does not destroy Froch either. What particular attributes does Kelly have over Froch, and to such an extent, that means he destroys him?

And I've been saying how Froch was lucky Taylor gassed - but the whole point is a lot of people knew it was a possibility as he does gass and become open, get hurt. Kessler however, does not. So whatever point your trying to make there, is lost. Kessler is roughly as good as Taylor in most departments, doesn't tire like Taylor, or become as open, and has as tough a chin.

I want to be a fan of Froch so I'M NOT biased towards him.... I just cant seem to find anyone that he can actually beat that is of any value. Can you? I did however have JT winning and he should have won but like you said he "gassed out". Kessler wont, Hop wont and Pav wont. All would beat him EASY!

Like I said I want to be a fan because I like how he's searching for fights and taking action. This is the MAIN reason I give much respect to Hatton. Only thing annoying about Froch is his mouth.... his skills dont back it up. He's going to end up like Hatton though when he faces THE BEST... Joe Calzaghe in his "prime" knew better than to do that.....

I didnt someone else did.... I just made a comment.... and moved onto Froch (the topic).

Froch loses to Hopkins, Kessler and Pavlik. EASY. Froch as of right now is **** and WOULD have lost to JT who's solid but "gassed out". Froch needs a lot of work before he beats anyone on the level of Hopkins let a lone a simply guy like Pavlik or a young buck like Kessler.

Hopkins takes this by wide UD 12. It would be Pavlik-Hopkins all over again. Hopkins picks who he wants to fight for a reason people, and it's not just because he's old now.
