I dont even think you can call that easy. Whatever level comes before easy is what you call that. Manny never let Ricky land a clean punch. Just amazing...

my prediction on floyd vs pac: floyd will try to land a few punches mixed with elbows and run, but before he could do that pac already has landed some bunches of blinding combos right on his face, he will hold and couldn't cope up with pac's speed then use his elbows again, few punches then run.. pac will run to him but get caught with floyds punch then engage in a brawl while floyd's on the rope, floyd's couldn't escape to run coz pac cornered him and that's his weakness: to engage toe to toe in front of his foe specially against a man with that speed.. but bacause floyd is a runner it will take 7-10 rounds for pac to finish him..

So you're saying to me that Ricky Hatton, pre May the second was in his prime?

              told you so!

This is exactly what I predicted to happen (made $500 bucks).

I said it from the start. Pac WOULD/WILL "DESTROY" Hatton to the point where people will say he would/could beat Mayweather. Hatton is done, at least with Sr. I can tell you that.

Pac OUT CLASSED, OUT PUNCHED, OUT LANDED, OUT DID EVERYTHING Hatton brought to the table. He has PROVED by moving UP, the power is there. FACT.

HATTON is good but NOT great. Pac VS Mayweather is next. Call it what you want but JMM is just a solid tune up for Mayweather. He knows whats up. I'm sure he's pissed that manny "DESTROYED" him in only 2 VERY EASY rounds. Hatton did nothing.

But again just as I stated, people will be saying Pac could/would beat Mayweather after Pacs KILLER KO performance VS Hatton.

I couldn't believe when I heard Teddy Atlas give Ricky the nod yesterday. What fights was he watch'n?
Teddy Atlas also picked Diaz to beat Marquez. Me? I knew Diaz didn't stand a chance and Teddy Atlas is supposed to be the expert.

I don't understand what Hatton thought he was playing at.

Huge props to Manny for a fabulous performance; and huge props to Roach for a brilliant game plan - the way he worked out that Hatton was so open to that right hook (when everyone else thought he was going to concentrate on the straight left), and the way he executed it so perfectly; and then the way, once Hatton started to look out for the right hook, Manny knocked him out with a left that he didn't see - that was master strategy.

Nevertheless, without taking anything away from Manny, Ricky really played into Pacquiao's hands big time. He never moved his head at all. He moved forward in straight lines. He kept his hands far too low. And these were all things he was supposed to have been working hard on, in training camp. And they were all things he had shown some improvement on in the Malignaggi fight. And they were all things that he had shown in the past, before the Tszyu fight, that he did have the ability to do quite well - for instance in the Tackie fight, he showed quite good head movement, a good jab, and fairly good lateral movement.

Also, Hatton said he'd learnt from the Mayweather fight, and he hired Floyd Senior because he realised that he couldn't fight in that way against elite fighters and get away with it. Yet he seems to have learnt nothing, after all.

So why did Hatton fail so completely to stick to his gameplan for even the first minute of the first round? Many people thought before the fight that he might forget his gameplan once he got tagged, but it was much worse than that - he forgot the gameplan even before the start of the first round.

Doesn't make any sense to me.

Did you see the first Castillo fight? It works sometimes.

What an impressive win for Pacquiao. After seeing that performance I now think he can compete with guys like Cotto or Mayweather. I hope Pac stays in boxing a little while longer, politics can wait.
