Pacquiaos Achievements Are Blown Out Of Proportion

he is an exciting, fast and a dynamic puncher who brings alot of drama to the sport but i honestly think his achievements (much like DLHS ) are dramatically blown out of proportion

I give manny his due for smashing top guys @ flyweight and bantam weight..but He gets WAY to much credit for beating the following...

*Erik Morales- Erik had all ready been through war with Barrera 3xs, Chi,Chavez, Hernandez, and the Pocket rocket. He was considered shot already and dead meat when he was matched against pac the first time. He was the underdog coming into the fight and put an ass whooping on manny. Manny came back and ko'd him twice but so what thats what he was suppose to do the first time. Manny showed in that fight that he can not fight going backwards worth ****.

*Juan Manuel Marquez- I dont care what the score card or official tally is. Out of the 24 rounds they fought JMM easily won 16 of those. Manny has every physical advantage over JMM but still gets countered like silly and beaten to the punch by a fighter who is 36 and alot slower. I honestly believe in both encounters that JMM beat him.

    * David Diaz- Him lets see jump up to 135 and face either marquez, cassamayor, campbell, katsidis, or Juan diaz...Nope ill fight the bob arum promoted sitting duck known as david diaz. Of course manny looked good @ his only fight @ 135. David Diaz cant crack worth a damn, has slow feet and horrible form . Easy Pickings, He gets no love for fighting the weakest belt holder in the division.

*Oscar- You want me to give you love for beating a guy who has fought once a year for the last 5 years, hasnt beat a top level fighter since Vargas in 04, and hasnt been a welterweight since 2001? give me a ****ing break.

Hatton like pac is a nice guy but living off of tainted achievements in my eyes.

Kostya- Old and coming of a long layoff.. He was faded when ricky fought him and even then he had to wrestle and slug it out for 12 rounds...and it was still a close fight.

Malinagi- The kid is only good at talking and looking like one of the growing up Gotti boys. He couldnt crack a good damn egg with those hands and had no chance of hurting ricky at all.

Castillo- Great lil man who gave mayweather fits, but destroyed himself by starving to make lightweight all those years and fighting Chico twice. he had never fought at light welter before and looked like death just climbing into the ring that night. No **** a body shot is gonna put him out..the man was a corpse.

I can see pac stopping him on cuts and or ko'ing him late..But i think you are all underestimating Hattons foot work and physical power. If he can get in close, tie up manny and back him up to the ropes to set him up for the hooks to the body i think we can see an interesting dynamic. Knowing hatton its going to be a John Ruiz ugly hug fest.

Boxers are getting a LOT of hype in an effort to compete with MMA. The old timers all know guys like Pac and Hatton are greatly overrated. Just enjoy them for what they are. Everyone knows Pac beat old fighters coming off loses, his only big win was Barrera years ago.

Hopefully Boxing gets back on it's feet so we can all get back to reality and stop talking about Boxers as if they are from the WWE.

        I agree 110%.

No prime fighter has fought another prime fighter nowadays.

Floyd didn't fight a prime Ricky because Ricky forgot to bring his toothbrush from England.

Manny didn't fight a prime Marquez because Marquez forgot how to chew a tree bark in training to strengthen his chin and was a day older past his prime.

An aged Hopkins didn't fight the prime version of Pavlik because Pavlik shaved his head 24 hours ago, and so the new-grown hair has affected his timing.

No prime fighter in history has fought another prime fighter for that matter. There's always an underlying reason why the beaten fighter is already past his prime. Whether it be a strand of hair, a nail cut too short or an unshaved moustache.

Marquez was not at the lighweight division when Pacquiao moved up to 135lbs.....

Roach said if there was a 3rd fight it would not be at 130 and Marquez would have to move up. That is why the TS mentioned Marquez in the lightweight mix.

I saw nothing wrong with Morales in the first fight, he looked pretty good to me.

Close fights can go either way, but if you KD a guy 4 times you generally should get the nod

Diaz is rubbish the only people who rate Diaz are pachuggers

True but you can't blame manny for Oscars poor showing, before the fight almost no one gave Manny a chance

He wasn't coming off a long lay off, he was coming off a recent destruction of the No2 in the division, stop trying to change history

Malinagi- The kid is only good at talking and looking like one of the growing up Gotti boys. He couldnt crack a good damn egg with those hands and had no chance of hurting ricky at all.
Malinaggi has no power but no one thought Hatton could outbox him and he did

Castillo- Great lil man who gave mayweather fits, but destroyed himself by starving to make lightweight all those years and fighting Chico twice. he had never fought at light welter before and looked like death just climbing into the ring that night. Incorrect, Castillio HAD fought at 140 before twice and won against one of the gateway fighters of the division who was at the time unbeaten, as for teh finish, how many fighter have got up from a bodyshot that broke four ribs? None I would imagine.

I can see pac stopping him on cuts and or ko'ing him late..But i think you are all underestimating Hattons foot work and physical power. Cut's won't be a factor, it's a myth that Hatton can be stopped on cuts, he's been able to carry on fighting with cuts from round one and win easily.
