LOL on the thread title "Lyell Upsets Duddy - Can John Ever Recover?" It always amazes me when boxing fans, pundits, whatever write a fighter off after just one loss...

but im irish i liked him and i wanted to see himdo well.

All I know about the guy that beat him is he's from Youngstown , same town as Kelly Pavlik . I hope he does well as well aswell . I'm from just outside Glasgow and a Celtic Ireland fan.I remember there was talk about him moving down to 154 , don't know what happened tho tbh.He's still ranked 5 by the WBO at middleweight .

Obviously a bad performance, but bad days have blighted many a good career..
