This article seems to have an undercurrent that blacks are superior athletes/fighters and the only reason whites are dominating the upper weightclasses now are because blacks are playing other sports instead of just giving credit where credit is due to all the fighters coming out of Europe now. Typical American worship of the black athlete.

It is well known.. that on average.. That Blacks have more muscle mass and less body fat than whites.. Asians have less muscle and fat than whites..

Yet all of them are physically strong, fast and agile..

Specialization is for insects.. humans are and can be everything..

we have 99.9% in common with every human that has ever lived.. and we focus on the .01% we have different..

Do you think if Aliens came to kill us.. they would even see those differences??

Does it matter if your burger came from a black, brown, white or spotted cow??

The Ring writers are awful, especially Raskin and Rosenthal. They really need some new people there who don't have the ****** racist agenda of promoting the idea that blacks are superior fighters. Some of what they come out with is disgraceful.

        Boxingscene's writers are MUCH better.

Of course there is. There are an enormous amount of differences between the races, especially such extremely different races as White and Black, the tincture of the skin being the least of it. But you're not allowed to discuss this subject or they will call you "racist".

The word "racist" was invented in the 1930's. It was invented by the communist Franz Boas-Margaret Mead crowd - as if there was no difference between a Congo pygmy and a Chinaman other than the color of their skin!

Exactly. Im black, but to me white people are just as good at sport as blacks. Nadal and Federer are without doubt two of the all time greats in Tennis, Schmacher was the greatest F1 driver of his era and Alonso is arguably the best in his sport right now. Other than Woods, in golf you have Mickleson, Football you have Messi.

In my view Black people tend to place far more emphasis on sport as means of climbing the economic ladder than whites and asians in particular. In the UK I only know of one professional asian football player, that's nothing to do with genetics. Thats because asians in the UK place a low value on sport as a means of economic gain and place a far higher value on education and high earning jobs. When asians go to university the large majority I came across were studying, Science Law and business related degrees, while they were hugely underrepresented in terms of Social Sciences.

This is true too, but blacks also have a number of physical traits that are advantageous in a sport such as boxing - thicker skin and thicker skulls and less prominent nose and jaw and cheekbones, for instance.

Im not getting into the Darwinist type theories, very dangerous and lead on to many misconceptions, 6 million people were burned to death, ****d, shot, beaten and gassed because of so called 'scientific' interpretations of inherent traits in humans.

100 - 99.9 is .1, but what you fail to mention is that we have 99.9% of our genes in common with all other mammals, too...and yet there are are one or two salient characteristics that differ between mice and elephants, yes?

Athletes are born they are not made. Champions are made they are not born. Because of history there is a better gene pool in black America, consequently it is more likely that champions will be found in that group. Carl Lewis was once asked why all the top sprinters are black. He replied that white guys don't have the "right equipment." Its all about genes.

Are you pointing out the difference between "African-Americans" compared to the rest of the "Blacks" around the world?

                      Special breeding?

For boxing history part: Let's not forget about how many "White" Champions there were prior to WWII.

But for percentage, there might be something to be said about the African-American influence.
