He's shot. Like Larry Merchant said, "even an empty gun shoots sometimes."

Don't count your chickens, dude. Froch has never been down kncoked down in his amateur or professional career. No way is he "going down hard" against Taylor.

I said "if he beat Taylor". No one could legitimately claim Roy is shot if that happened. I don't care what Larry Merchant says.

I dont think he is shot, necessarily... I think people compare him to what he USED to be, and he looks shot compared to prime roy.

But who doesnt look shot compared to prime roy?
Interestingly enough... I say Roy still would have ATLEAST a 40% chance at beating anyone he fights at this point... So why not?

If I was Roy I would do this:
He just fought and is in shape... so go back to the gym.. until the April 25th fight..
watch the fight... study the film.. An experienced guy like Roy with film on his opponent would be a tricky situation... He would have a head start because he can start workin now..

Never say never in boxing. There is a first time for everything, for every fighter.

Acting like it's completely impossible for Taylor to KD or even KO Froch is ignorant at best, if not completely foolish.

I'm not saying it WILL happen, or even that it's LIKELY to happen, but it's a very real possibility.

                  I'm convinced.......

that Roy Jones Jr wants to go out in the ring like Apollo Creed.

He should stay at 175, he have a better chance of winning a belt there and less risky, because comming down in weight, is no easy task. look how DLH end up against a Junior lightWeight.

The safest bet for ROy is beat a top ten contender at LHW and aim for Dawson, because Dawson is less likely to KO roy. Jermain or Froch could really hurt Roy.

First Taylor's gotta get past Froch and Jones has to try to beat on something other than a heavy bag.
