Mayweather PPV percentage up that to 35 million....check Forbes year end issues with the top grossing athletes in 2007....Floyd was the 2nd highest grossing athlete in the world only behind Tiger.

How do you know Floyd didn't get 20 million for his fight with the Big Show...where you their during contract negotiation? please give me proof. WWE and Floyd both said it 20 million so why question that.

This recession has nothing to do with athlete getting paid....A-Rod, Tiger, Lebron and Manning still eat food even in these economic times.

Exactly. If they come up to him and offer him serious, serious, serious (can't stress that enough) money...then he'll take it, use the money as motivation and get back in the fight game. If not, he'll just keep enjoying his retirement, and it's not like he's eager to get back in contact with boxing fans, it's actually the other way around.

Boxing wants Floyd, Floyd doesn't want boxing. So if they want him, they have to put the money in front of him, otherwise...he's not budging, and won't feel one bit bad about it.

That's sounds reasonable considering Floyd's status in the game and the magnitude of the entire event.

No doubt he'll stand to make much more than that.

And most people are forgetting that the tax man always takes a big chunk of the purse.

That's why Floyd may be asking for so much.

Floyd says a lot of things. Vince Mcmahon was asked if Floyd would get $20 mill and he said he couldn't confirm that, meaning he didn't. I think you should check the Forbes list because Oscar is number 2 and Floyd is in the 20's.

The recession doesn't have anything to do with boxers income? Wow.
