**** Floyd. He is retired. I just wish people would stop trying to goad him into fights. There are some great fighters around NOW, and they are active, putting in the work. Give them their props and leave Floyd out of it.

We can disagree all you want, $8,000,000 is still too low, and $20,000,000 is too high, midway through is about right which most people agree with. Six world title five weight classes while remaining undefeated? Nobody has done that.

$8,000,000 is a wank offer and $20,000,000 is a wank demand, end of story... you can have your opinion and I can have mine, $20,000,000 is absolutely crazy though.

You gotta admit though he is still the most talked about right now, even in his retirement his name is still brought up nearly every day so a comeback fight isn't going to be cheap which you have gotta understand. He was guaranteed like $11,000,000 against Hatton... and he is worth more now, so why would he accept $8,000,000, I think about $13,000,000-?5,000,000 is about right, the fight would have buy written all over it regardless.

Just my opinion anyway, were all different mate... nothing against you!

Hell Yeah he worth 20 million....WTF!!!!

Mayweather is worth 20 million...the demand to fight him is second only to Oscar...boxers know that they get paid fighting him plus the fact that he was a formers p4per leader and he's undefeated.

Mayweather is used to making big bucks, why should he lower his standard especially when boxers and promoters are the one trying to entice him out of retirement.....they want his services.

Mayweather has crossover as well etc...Dancing with the Stars. There are more threads (love or hate) about Mayweather per day than any other fighter.

        Floyd past pay day:

Big Show- 20 mill = On PPV
Hatton- 15 mill (Hatton highest payday was this fight) = On PPV
Oscar- 35 mill (Oscar highest payday was this fight) = On PPV
Baldomir- 8.1 mill (Baldomir highest payday was this fight) = On PPV
Judah- 8 mill (Judah highest payday was this fight) = On PPV
Mitchell- 2 mill (Mitchell highest payday was this fight)
Gatti- 3.5 mill (Gatti highest payday was this fight) = On PPV

Why would he settle for anything less, yes he should demand and get 20 million...he brings a lot to the table plus Floyd PPV are always good.

People should stop calling Floyd... Let him rest in peace and let him come back voluntarily... The more you call him out, the bigger he demand... let him return voluntarily if he want so that he can't demand bigger...

and what boxer today can offer that kind of money besides delahoya?

                  no one

Mayweather got $25 mill for Oscar, and nowhere near $20 mill from the WWE. $20 million is not "Mayweather's standards." He only got that because he fought Oscar, who was the draw, and the economy was nowhere near as bad as it is today.
