The fight was so damn GOOD.... Kellerman compared it to the first Castillo vs Corrales fight!

      I almost agree with him.

Marquez will never land a fight with Floyd, but gotta give the guy cred for calling him out. There's really no one left for him to beat at Lightweight other than Guzman or Valero, and since he's under GBP there's no way Mosely is going to let him fight the Hatton-Pacman winner without him getting the opportunity first. I think a fight with Nate Campbell would be good, but pointless at 140 without titles on the line.

I knew it was just a matter of time before Marquez took over. He was hitting Diaz with a lot of hard punches, he wore him down and took him out. Great fight!!

I agree. I knew he'd give Marquez a run for his money due to his pressing style, I was just surprised at how much he lacked respect for Marquez's counter punching and punching power. You knew it was only matter of time before Diaz succumbed. We all know Marquez is battle tested and can take the biggest shots and keep coming back like Jason Voorhees.

This is what Richie Marotta, Max Kellerman, Doug Fischer, and yours truly have been talking about for years. The cream always rises to the top no matter how much you try to suppress it. JMM has to be considered one of theee best Mexican fighters of all time and one of the finest, classiest of this generation. Sorry MAB, sorry Erik Morales, you guys dont hold up to this guy. He is class personified.
Dont look for Mayweather to come out of retirement to fight JMM. Mayweather is an overrated clown who only wants winnable fights. Pac may be forced to fight JMM just by sheer virtue of JMM's undeniable will and newfound public appreciation.

As for Chris John, poor guy got viciously robbed. I'm telling you I think Rocky Juarez may be backed by Keyzer Soze the way this guy keeps getting breaks like this.
cosign. can't say it was the "worst" decision i ever saw, but considering the judges get paid to do this, it was definitely as bad as it gets.
