WOW.....That fight was amazing. I picked Juan Diaz to beat Marquez but Marquez showed he is truly a great fighter!! He is
35 & beat a 25 year old tough ass fighter. I don't want to hear NO MORE about passed his prime on these threads. Marquez is truly the best lightweight & proved it tonight. I think the Baby Bull had Marquez and could have took it but he didn't have the power & Marquez did.

All in all I am satisfied and happy to have witnessed this fight. I respect Marquez for saying he don't want Manny again and plans to move on. Right now Juan Manuel Marquez did what Manny Pacquiao didn't at 135 & that was become the REAL recognize champ!! I'm fine with Marquez moving passed Manny because he deserves to write his on story.

JMM was LUCKY with that HEATBUTT!!!
J.Diaz was beating him until that point~~~
        That's the turning point really~~~

Great gameplan by Juan Diaz!!! He pressure JMM very well....

Credit to Marquez for capitalizing that rare opportunity~
        He got LUCKY really!

        PacMan-Marquez III before 2009 end~
        Bring it on~

Though, I hope J.Diaz has his chance of Rematch with Marquez!!!
        He deserves it!!!

Juan Diaz looked great, he was looking like he was the better, better defensive fighter. If he had more power he would have Knocked Marquez out. But damn Marquez is such a percise fighter. All he had to do was stay away from the ropes, and throw that uppercut. I also thought Juan was dead tired at the last two rounds. Wow, I think Ricky Hatton, who I can't stand, and Mayweather would bust his ass though. Yo know what Ricky Hatton-Marquez is a good fight. That's a definite KO. Marquez could barely handle baby bulls pressure, I don't think he can handle Hatton's. Although Hatton is a lot easier to hit then Juan Diaz. Damn I'm sad for Juan Diaz, he fought so well until he got caught. It's like he lost confidence and Marquez gained it once he got cut. Great fight although this upsets me that he got KO'd. I hate when fighters I like get KDed let alone KO'ed. I guess it just comes with the territory.

No excuses hear, Juan Diaz lost to another Mexican warrior.

But to all the haters out there you need to give Juan Diaz his credit for putting up a hell of a fight and giving Marquez just as much if not more hell than Barrera and Pacquiao

I feel your pain man...In the last 2 years 3 of my favs have lost..Great disply by diaz nonetheless
