But not knocked out. He got up pretty fast actually. Get the facts straight before speaking......He did get back up but was too stunned to finish with an accurate fighter like Mayweather charging in on him.
What is Cotto's excuse for being hurt and KD by a couple different(and lesser) fighters @ 140? Torres & Corley ring a bell?
Let's not remember that Cotto could not put Paulie Mallignaggi away @ 140 while Hatton could. Hatton would wipe the ring with Cotto @ 140 if he came in and fought like he did against Kostya Tszyu. No doubt in my mind.
And for those who think Cotto does 'everything' better than Hatton need to think a little bit before saying that BS again.
Hatton is faster on his feet , has just as much power @ 140 and is just as fast handed. They both go to the body equally as good and both have about the same punch resistence, with a slight advantage to Hatton.
first. Manny

If you really think Mayweather was fighting at lightweight when he fought Hatton, you not only don't know what you're talking about, you know absolutely nothing about boxing.

Cotto should fight the winner but next year when his Top Rank contract is over and he is free to negotiate the most money. He must beat Mosley again though more convincingly to rehabilitate his status and should unify with Clottey in the fall...Clottey is talking real tough right now, hardhead too Cotto may have to settle for a points win.
