Margarito is a criminal who tries to hurt people, if he can't box he will result to cheating his way through life another way. Running drugs being the obvious choice.

Heck, just here in the States we've seen it plenty of times...Edwin Valero licensed in Texas (even though he hasn't fought) but nowhere else, Tommy Morrisson being licensed in some states but not in others even though there was the suspision he was HIV positive.
Those cases may not be exactly the same, but you see what I'm getting at.
Including the greatest Ali, which once (I beleive) was banned from a commision and manage to fight some place else.

You would think sport, would exhibit more sportsman like behavior, but I think because of the money involved that arena is corrupt as well.
Why couldn't Margs just use steroids like everyone else?

Whether it's right or wrong, if someone lets him, Margarito will fight on if he feels it necessary.

Japan and Mexico let Oscar Larios fight even though he was suspended for a subdural hematoma.
He even fought for a WBC crown at featherweight even though he's suspended from the US for fighting.

if he fights in mexico during his suspension, then should plan on fighting there for the rest of his career...
fighting in mexico is like giving the middle finger to the CSAC abd every state that's honoring their ruling...it will be unlikely that they reinstate him after a year with that act of defiance

You're right though, if he takes one fight in Mexico that's where he's gonna stay.

Margacheato is making a big mistake
As if loading the gloves weren't damaging enough, the sheer audacity involved in going around the CA commission to be licensed in Mexico is more trouble than it is worth. Think about this:
Southern California is predominately a Hispanic boxing fan's area, particularly the Mexican crowd. Margarito was revered in this area and still is to a large degree, even after the suspension was handed down. The only other market where has a comparable source of fan support is his native Tijuana and the country of Mexico. If he is seriously considering circumventing the suspension he will ultimately lose in the end. The reason being is Los Angeles provided much more of a financial incentive than the destitute areas plagued by corruption in TJ and Mexico. If you burn that bridge and essentially give the middle finger you are biting the hand that feeds you. Could Margacheato make a living in Mexico? Sure he could, but any promoter that values integrity(or, at least for the sake of appearances to the buying public that is) would not willingly give their fighter authority to do this.
The only reason I can possibly conceive is that Bob Arum knows this isn't going to fade from the boxing supporters minds, and he is going to get out while the getting's good. It's disgusting when you take a moment to consider it, but then again that is why boxing continues to get the bad rap to this day. The bottom line is to accept the punishment like a man and gain the respect back the old fashion way,FIGHTING.

yea man its a tough spot for margarito...there are no guarantees that he gets reinstated right away but im almost certain that fighting in mexico pretty much blackballs himself in the US...
if i were tony, id just honor the suspension...get out of everyone's radar and just let his body heal...he needs it
after a year, if the CSAC doesnt renew his license then he can earn a living in mexico...at least he showed respect to their ruling and at this point, that kind of PR is what he needs to salvage whatever is left of his image
