Seriously, I can understand people not jumping to conclusions on previous fights.
But for the Mosley fight Margarito is blatantly guilty.

Its sad that great doubt will now haunt ****rita's greatest fight. I think the damage is done to his image in the world of boxing. I have been following boxing for years and it sucks that this had to happen. We get a great fighter only to hear these accusations. I feel for ****rita he struggled to get to the top and now this just takes away from his efforts.
ps My first post hi to all the boxing fans. A new member to the "he can not tek my poonches club"

I am not a big fan of Jim Lampley, but I understand his role and I understand that he doesn't issue irresponsible reports. He wouldn't have reported a "plaster-like" substance if he wasn't ABSOLUTELY sure that that was what was found. Do you understand what a false report like that would do to his career? Obviously not. Lampley is paid to investigate. He is. That's part of the job description. If he exaggerated his reports no one in the business would work with him. That's why I say you're being willfully ignorant.
Again, don't take that the wrong way. But you're acting like there was a possibility that this thing would have been resolved in a matter of 1 hour. You're acting like a perfectly accurate report by Lampley would have sealed the deal and that because it didn't that he must have missed the boat. In other words, you're not giving Lampley any credit at all and instead granting Margarito more than his fair share of reasonable doubt all in favor of what you seem to believe is a "neutral" position.
So, let's just say hypothetically that the investigation take one month. Let's say that everything Lampley reported was true, but that the California Commission let Margarito off with a warning. What would you say then?
Ultimately, I would be angry if they let Margarito off with a warning if he really did use a illegal padding. But let me ask you something. If someone were to come up to you and say "Tell us why Margarito is guilty", what would you say? "Because Lampley said so? Sorry, it might be true but that's not the right answer. Remember this: It's not what you know, it's what you can prove. I'm not saying Lampley isn't truthful, but until he can prove to the world that it's true, then we must always give the benefit of the doubt to the accused. You simply are deciding to ignore this willfully. Why?
