Keep in mind, sir, that we aren't prosecutors in a court of law nor are we law students. We're just a bunch of boxing fans debating Margarito's reputation and legacy within our niche of society.

The fact of the matter is that Margarito was not cleared of anything. The NSAC just decided that it wasn't going to waste its time and taxpayers dollars investigating something that, even if it were true, wasn't going to be proven. So, the neutral position is neither required nor really definable.

Sorry but you don't need to be a prosecutor to know this basic logic. You don't know something unless it's proven. The benefit of the doubt should always be given to the accused hence, innocent until proven guilty. We can go on all day about this but without evidence, it's simply irrelevant...however, if you provide some evidence then I'll reconsider this point. Apart from that, he can be guilty and he not be guilty. Evidence would solve this problem...

Theres a very easy way to find out if he had loaded gloves in the Cotto fight....Cotto vs Margs 2....if Cotto doesnt all of a sudden start to look like Sloth from the goonies by the 10th then you know Margs is a scumbag cheater after that fight he should only get matches opening up for Donkey shows in Tiajuana

Of course the Nevada state athletic commission is going to deny any negligence after this. I wouldn't directly accuse them of simply missing any illegal tactics because no one will ever be able to say this far after the event, but it's an obvious prophylactic step to take and doesn't really prove or disprove anything. The CSAC alone will take the fall.

I may not be a smart person who has a lot of basic logic, but I know that I've seen people commit crimes that they never got convicted of. I've had friends who've killed people, stabbed people, robbed people, etc. and didn't get convicted for what they did. I'm not complaining about it...I'm just saying that it's something that happens. I'm not just talking about heresay either. I know what happened in some cases.

Now, what you consider to be a lack of evidence, well I'm just going to say if HBO reported it then I'll believe it because HBO has a history of preferring to cover that sort of thing up rather than report on circumstantial evidence. If the HBO reported that plaster like substance was confiscated then you know what I'm going to believe? That plaster-like substance was confiscated. Do you know why?
