I may not be a smart person who has a lot of basic logic, but I know that I've seen people commit crimes that they never got convicted of. I've had friends who've killed people, stabbed people, robbed people, etc. and didn't get convicted for what they did. I'm not complaining about it...I'm just saying that it's something that happens. Now, what you consider to be a lack of evidence, well I'm just going to say if HBO reported it then I'll believe it because HBO has a history of preferring to cover that sort of thing up rather than report on circumstantial evidence. If the HBO reported that plaster like substance was confiscated then you know what I'm going to believe? That plaster-like substance was confiscated. Do you know why? Because Bob Arum has enough money to pay off the people making $35-40,000 a year who're doing the investigation.

What you're not understanding is I don't have a personal bias. I'm a Mosley fan. If anything, the default position would be to get angry at Margarito and claim he did use illegal plaster padding gloves without a shadow of a doubt but I love boxing too much to really get angry and say he shouldn't be in boxing because ultimately, he's an exciting guy to watch. But again you're assuming way too much. I'm not saying he didn't have illegal substances because it's very possible and probable that he did. All I'm saying is don't jump the gun without evidence because he might've done it but it doesn't matter without having evidence of it.

And saying "Bob Arum has enough money to pay people off" is assuming again and there's a lot of loopholes too. You can't just make up random situations and post it off as fact. Again, I'm not saying it's not possible but you enter murky waters when you continually assume one thing after the other which is why I brought up the court analogy because assumption and accusations mean nothing without backup and that's not to say it's true or not but confirmation of a claim needs to be established before a serious accusations is passed off as the "true story"...

I'm not assuming anything. HBO made a report and I believed it. Just as the Washington Post made reports about Nixon and some people believed them. Others elected to brush reports in either case off. But keep in mind, I didn't make anything up. I'm just saying that I believe HBO's report. Are you saying that a logical person should not believe HBO's report?

Another useless thread all cotto nuthugers and the margarito haters are not going to be satisfied even if the allegations are cleared from the Mosley fight they'll still believe that Margarito cheated.
