      Hopkins-Trinidad
      Hopkins-Tarver
      Hopkins-Pavlik
      Mosley-Margarito

All fights where an underdog kicked the crap out of the favourite, and 2 of the wins were by KO. Can anyone else think of other examples where he made the underdog the winner?

Also, thoughts on him as a trainer?
Word. I agree. He definitely one if not the best trainer around. Freddie Roach's got a good coaching resumre. (No, not just because of Pacquiao) Freddie Roach trained Tyson and who else? I can't remember right now, but he's trained a few people.

I'm really not into Teddy Atlas as a trainer, or Buddy McGirt.
D'Angelo is a good old school trainer.

But yeah, ****m is pretty bad....you forgot to add Mosely on the list.

Being a great trainer is all time and place.

He is just the hottest trainer going right now.

Thing with Richardson is that in the heat of the battle he always stays even keel. If I was a fighter, I would be comforted going to my corner and listening to him, he's like an old sage. He just commands trust and respect from you and I think that's just as important as anything.

Plus like so many of you said, he draws up great gameplans.

If I was a fighter he's the guy I would want in my corner.

he is overrated, this is the man who couldnt tell hopkins to not be a **** and let his hands go.......TWICE!!!!!!.......The same that didnt tell hopkins to be immpressive in a major PPV infomercial to build even more anticipation for the DLH match.....his brilliant "gameplan" to contain the incredible beast Howard ****in Eastman, was to run like a deer......

my brother doesnt get million dollar paydays, and he told me, "if shane can keep margarito offbalance and frustraded with his physical strenght, he will **** him up easily by punching fast from midrange(especially right hands to the temple, since margo's chin has proven to be rock solid) and then tying him up....."

anyone who is not a moron can come up with good gameplans, theres a lot of intangibles that prevent them form working........................................... ....

That may be true, but you know damn well you didn't believe it.

You and I talked online the day before the fight about how Shane was most likely going to get wrecked.

It's no fault of ours, ****, everybody expected Shane to get wrecked because of the horrible performance against Mayorga.

Naazim is a damn good trainer, and deserves respect.

yeah i didnt believe he could because i thought he was shot, but i would say thats a good gameplan for shane, better than using his crappy jab to keep distance and give margo leverage, lol............

naz is good, but he is overrated, like i said, i think someone else couldve gotten nard' to beat jt decisively .....and you know i love jt.......

Bernard did beat JT decisively, in the rematch.

He just got no credit for it.
