Hatton won't have the opportunity to land...

the kind of body punches on a guy with the lateral movement of Manny Pac. That only works against "pass their prime guys like Jose Luis Castillo." And just like DLH, that body work plan will go out the window for Ricky after he gets tagged by Manny's first quick left hand, which will land in the first minute of the first round. After that, Hatton will resort to grabbing and wrestling that will allow him to last for 2-3 rounds and allow Manny will get a mid-round corner or cut stoppage. Should still be an entertaining fight though.

hatton is going to bullrush pac, do his hold-n-hit routine. pac isnt strong enough to muscle hatton.

Do you think that's wise? I believe the kind of fighters who could beat Pacquiao are slick ones.

I remember before Hatton fought malignaggi, people on here saying "malignaggi will be too fast", and "when hatton gets frustrated he will revert to type".

What happened... Malignaggi probably won the first round (arguably) then he got a taste of hattons power in round 2 and didn't want any more to do with it.

Im not saying that will happen with Pac, but I think pacquiao will be suprised when he actually takes a hard shot from a genuine 140 fighter, DLH was just a punching bag.

This is new...for the first time! We're gonna see Pac fight on the inside and STAY THERE and it won't because he wants to

hatton's punching power won't bother pac, but his wrestling will.

You can't compare Malignaggi to Pacman...

Paulie has virtually no power and was unable to get Hatton's respect throughout the fight. That won't be the case with Pacman. A brawler like Hatton is made to order for Manny and his speed and power will turn this fight into a showcase for his boxing ablility before he stops Hatton around the 5 or 6th round.

I find it odd that anyone would believe a bullrush tactic would work against a highly skilled professional like Pacman. It may have worked against Kotsya passed his prime but a professional like Manny will be prepared to counter this amatuer tactic.
