Kostya didnt look faded in the fights prior to Hatton and he didn't look faded in that fight, so how do you figure? Because he lost on his ass? At least he fought back. Oscar layed down and was LITERALLY going to retire in Dec. '08.

Exactly my point. Hatton was only ever solved by a purely defensive counter puncher like Floyd. Manny, while good, is nothing like Floyd.

He did that against Malignaggi as well and at times Pauli caught him with a few counter punches that threw Hatton off balance temporarily with obvious little effect.
Paulie was as fast as Manny and still stood no chance against Hatton. He took a beating all around the ring in the same fashion Oscar did except he is in his prime. Landing 3 hard punches in the whole fight does not constitute beating Hatton. Left hooks from a orthodox stance is allot different from a southpaw straight left.

You have no way to know that Hatton will get landed on and that Manny wont. One thing is certain though. Manny has been down on body shots and Hatton can throw them. Hatton can also move in on his feet faster than Manny can back up. The distance will get closed and we will see what happens when it does. Every style has a counter style. Lets see who's wins this battle.

P.S. I got 10K on Hatton if you are interested.

I agree, but he always jumps at the chance to twist the knife in.

If Hatton was still his fighter, he wouldn't be saying that would he? Frank is a money whore and Hatton was his best selling slut!

Hatton really has a chance since every boxer who faces an opponent has a chance... Hatton is strong at 140lbs, he is undefeated on that division... Body shots would be the key for hattons victory since he is known for that...

The question is can pacquiao take those shots or can avoid them? If he can then it would be a great fight because for sure they will be fighting toe to toe...

I doubt it if paulie has the same speed as pacquiao... Paulie seldom gave hatton combinations only jobs... Pacquiao speed will deliver 5-6 power combinations while paulie gave 1,2-3 feather fist combinations...

The question is can hatton take the pressure of pacquioa's speed and power combinations? If he can then its hard to say who will win... His only lost is to floyd mayweather(a former #1 P4P king) who has a very impressive defence and a counter puncher... Hatton's lost is at 147 which is not at 140...

If the fight will last untill the 12th rounds, I think pacquiao would win a UD... If it is not it is hard for me to say who would win a KO... Its either hatton if he delivers a very powerful body shots or pacquiao through the accumulation of powerful combinations...
