Pac is P4P 1 right now and steps in on fight night the same weight Floyd does , you cant bash Floyd for not fighting big welters and not paint Pac with the same brush , Pac vs Floyd at 140 is a super fight and Pac has a great chance of beating him , Mike Tyson was a flyweight when he was 7 , jokes aside it dont matter what they come from when you look at both in 2009 . look at the dimensions the scales and what they actually weigh on fight night , thats what is important ! .

Many of you guys throw Floyd in to big fighters way above him in size like its ok for him but you dont talk about other fighters fighting fighters outside their true weight to prove themselves , all you haters just want to see him get beat and you dont care what the handicap is , just because Floyd is capable doesnt mean its where he is best , he can probably beat many of them but its not his true weight and he is handicaped in fights with Cotto Margo Williams , he only went to welter because thats where the money was , its testament to what a great fighter he is but no way is Floyd a true welter , he is a jnr welter and there is not a jr welter that can touch him and he will stop jnr welters and show power at that weight , when he fights welters he just isnt big enough to **** with them so he wins with skill , at 140 and under Floyd is bad ass .

None of the aformentioned fighters stands out as far as motivation for Mayweather.
Assuming that Margarito beats Cotto again in June, then its between Margarito and Williams in terms of who's the no. 1 welterweight - Clottey hasn't yet done anything to indicate he's in the same league as them.

Margarito won't ever fight Williams again (presumably because he thinks he'd lose again); but if Mayweather wants to be regarded as the best welterweight, he should fight both Margarito and Williams.

The reason he probably won't fight them is that the money he'd get for doing so wouldn't be good enough, in his eyes, but I think it's very sad that someone who is already worth hundreds of millions of dollars should put money ahead of beating the best. Mayweather would truly be tested by either Margarito or Williams, and both would have a reasonable chance of beating him, IMO, especially Williams, because of his height.

Old time fighters wanted to fight the best. Mayweather only wants to make money. That's what's wrong with boxing.

Is Floyd Jr. return..good for boxing?

Ofcourse floyd's return will give more harm to boxing..you know why?coz boxing fans knows him well monetarily. whenever floyd gets paid in huge amount by his lone employer "boxing" he always leaves his employer alone in the dark. when his employer gets better in the business, he comes back. and the most disgusting about floyd and people around him is that they always proclaim that floyd is a great fighter although ducking the likes of margarito-a true and natural welter unlike pacquiao. If floyd wants a fight with the pacman! he can as long as he comes down to a 142 lbs catch weigth.

whether or not ugly boy floyd's return is good or bad for boxing is not our concern. let him come back and fight pac should pac win against hatton. but to the point that he will come back and dictate the amount of money he will receive is nothing but arrogance. pacquiao is the best and the most exciting fighter for now, his time is over

if he comeback for boxing, then good. but if he comeback for money, he should better hang himself.

What the hell, i remember before the fight happened i was seeing Hatton as a very live threat... the beginning of the fight was thrilling, as we were seeing Hatton pressuring Floyd, while he was keeping his cool and executing his gameplan.

But still, you could feel any punch could change someway the fight. Until half of the fight, when floyd took it up a notch and started schooling the UK guy, fighting toe to toe with him and KOing him at the end.

That was exciting...i dont know what youre talking about...i can understand saying Floyd - Baldo was not an exiting fight (oh well, i liked the technical display of Mayweather anyway, but i can understand other fight fans want to see more violence) But this fight...come on now.
what a great post. I would put this post in my sig if there wasn't a character limit.
