    Negotiations started on Abraham vs Pavlik. "I'll destroy Pavlik" Abraham says.

    Abraham-Sturm looks out as Abrahams manager Sauerland has begun negotiations with team Pavlik for a summerfight.

    German tabloid Bild reports that there have been 2 meetings already. One in London and one in Cologne. "Those meetings have been really good", Sauerland says. "The fight is likely to go ahead in the summer of 2009."

    Arthur Abraham is exited: "My goal is to become superchampion. I'll destroy Kelly Pavlik and then it'll be clear who the best 160 pounder is!"

    Pavlik must first defend his title on feb. 21 against his mandatory Marco Antonio Rubio.

      Fighters with movement own a Pavlik. Abrahams is a more take you shot to give a shot.

      abrahams is clearly a cut above Pavlik and should win by knockout.

        pavlik cant afford to be hit by this guy, but abraham needs to watch himself as well, this is one of the most exciting fights to come along in awhile. im also glad miranda is now irrelevant.

          The 260 pound division, didn't know they've gotten that big.

          Anyways, this is one of the best fights that can happen in boxing and definitely the best that can be made at 160. Hopefully negotiations go smoothly.

            I now have a totally unreasonable and irrational hatred of all Sauerland fighters, and therefore hope Pavlik knocks his head off.

            I'm guessing this fight won't be in Europe....
